thay are all saying what a materclass and pirlo was world class and he destroyed celtic and scott brown got no where near him, we are out played and out fought...... i am a bit confused to say the least

says it all really , juve were * pirlo had like 2 good passes all night, he was to busy getting * of with the attention brown was giving him. WE out played them WE out passed them WE out fought them.
they won because they got lucky we gifted them two goals there second goal was there only bit of good play all night. the amount of mistakes they made was huge , they actually played like a scottish division 3 team.
we shouldve been 3 -1 up after 70 mins then the game woulda been over.
if juve go into the return leg with the same approach a firmly believe we can score 3 or 4 goals against them with sammy on the pitch and there finishing is a bit better

Dunno who you've been listening to, the only one I've heard saying that is Robbie Earle on Press Pass, and even he acknowledged that virtually everyone else he spoke to about it said we were the better team. SSN definitely hasn't been reporting a "masterclass", had it on all morning and it's been always about Lennon's press conference and the Lichsteiner stuff.

The Juve performance was probably the worst performance against us at Celtic Park in the Champions League since we played Villarreal about 4 year ago.

Almost everyone has been on our side. I wouldn't go looking for the few who are not just to take offence at it personally.

Juventus were rotten. That is my honest opinion of them. I havn't seen Celtic dominate a game in Europe so much for a very long time. Pirlo showed a couple of times why he is world class, with a few balls round the corner, already knowing that someone is making a run. But that was all he done. The best midfielder on the park was Wanyama, by some distance.

It will be the English trying to get one up on the Scots, because their Premier League Champions got * out of Europe at the group stages, despite spending around £300m on players over the last few years :smiley-laughing002:
Don't even get me started on Chelsea either. They won the * thing last year, sacked their manager, and couldn't even make the last 16 this season. -

Don't know where this masterclass performance from Juventus has come from. Even ITV presenters with Adrian Chiles were praising how well we played and that we were very unlicky to have lost 3-0. They even criticised the Juventus defence for their wresting moves with Chiles saying that Lichtsteiner is his least favourite player now :smiley-laughing002:
Anyone who can watch that game and thinks that we were dominated by a mastercalss performance from Juventus is clearly sniffing glue. -
Pirlo, as usual, did near enough nothing. Yeah, he made a few long range passes.. I see that * at under 15 games. Pirlo is the most overrated player in the history of the game.

I don't pay any attention to all of those mentioned in previous posts; as for the Daily Ranger...stopped even looking at that rag in the shops years ago. I loved wee Owen Coyle pulling Chick hun Young up on radio Scotland after the game when the wee nyaff showed his true blue colours.

We were great last night we got heavily punished for mistakes we likely would get away with in SPL, thats the difference. We certainly more than proved we belong at this level (CL) and can go forward to Turin knowing that. Well done Neil and all the Bhoys. -
Pirlo played 2 decent passes and did nothing for the rest of the night apart from look 2 yards off the pace. Which, in fairness, if the first time I've seen that from him.
They were *. Not impressed by them at all. The BBC seemed perplexed by Lustig saying Juve weren't as good as Barca either. Juve are not and never will be in Barca's league, they play on different stratosphere's.
The difference is Juve didn't allow us to play our normal game by resorting to cheating, aided by the referee. -
i live down in Jersey and went for a coffee before work and was listening to english lads talk about the game,the overall opinion was there was no way we should have lost 3-0 and none of them were celtic supporters
even a few lads on our job were talking about itand were saying the right result would have been 3-0 to celtic
not heard anyone down here say it was even close to being a deserved result for juventus -

And that's obviously testament to our play if the only way this team, worth about £100m more than ours, resorts to total underhand tactics to beat us. One bit of decent play for they're second, and two glaring defensive errors undone us..apart from that, we totally dominated them and they could hardly get out they're own half. -
Pirlos a great player but last night was'nt one of his great performances.We did'nt have the quality in front of goal they had and poor defending did for us.It would be nice to go to Turin and get them by the throats like we did most of last night.
