The Joe Ledley Thread

Only one bad game i've EVER seen ledley play was when we got beat 3-1 off der hun at parkhead, because he hid we got bullied in the middle, but was his first derby, and he grew and grew, and i've not seen him have a bad game....... first name on the team sheet, and should have got player of the year last season, vastly underrated.

 

By far my favourite player since Larsson. He's becoming an absolute hero

 

Think he played bad cause we had no "dig" in midfield. Pretty sure Kayal and Brown were injured in that game and didnt play. Our midfield was Ki and Ledley and we got destroyed.

 

Sorry, but Naka and Mulgrew (and Boruc) are ahead of him in that category.

I wasn't aware you were qualified to tell me who my favourite player was.

 

We're guaranteed at least a 7 out of 10 performance from Joe Ledley each time he steps on the pitch. Players like that are invaluable.

What a * coup it was by the club getting the lad , Thank * Cardiff rejected that £5m from Stoke City for him a few years back

So many of our players have a good run of form, and then suddenly are chased by a premiership side and worth 10 million, then you are left bitterly disappointed when they completely underperform or bottle it in a big match. Joe Ledley seems to step it up when we need him, so underrated, probably my favoruite player at the moment

 

Same thought here. I think a lot has to do that he plays the same position and same style as myself. I am just a big believer that there is more to football than attacking and scoring goals. I mean, that's the end result you want, but it takes players like Ledley to make that work. He was truly box-to-box tonight. To get that goal is such icing on the cake. So much can be accomplished in football by just staying on the move. Watch his run on that goal; he just never stops moving.

Joe Ledley is the man. Worked his socks off as he always does, which is something supporters will always appreciate. He was involved in both goals and continues to be a definite starter.

We are lucky to have him.

 

Seen the team in the airport today, they were going to America to play the friendly against Real Madrid. Ledley was still absolutely steaming !! Must have been celebrating till late last night!
