    Coming Home
Let’s put this into perspective: On the 6th November 2012, Cardiff got humped 5-4 off Charlton. A day later, Joe started the game for us against Barcelona and helped win the game 2-1.
Aye, it's pure * playing for Celtic.

Get him signed up before we end up losing him for peanuts to some no mark middle of the road English Prem team.

I genuinely believe he wouldn't ask for more money, he loves it here, is being paid handsomely and is winning trophies and playing the Champions League.

He strikes me as a rare breed in football these days in that he isn't interested in an extra 10 grand here or 15 grand there, he prefers glory and the adulation of the crowd.

The only worry I would have is the pull of Cardiff if they got to the Premiership, so make sure he is tied up and we get top dollar if the lure of his boyhood heroes is too much.

I worry about this. I think he would go back to Cardiff if they got promoted. I wouldn`t really blame him either - it is his club after all

We`re letting too many top players run their contracts down. Its no very smart

If Joe Ledley is on £25,000 a week and he's looking for more money in his next contract then he won't be here much longer. Hopefully this is not the case though.

Ledley is the kind of player I really like. You know exactly what you're going to get from him week in, week out. It doesn't matter if we're playing in Dingwall or Milan you will get the same level of effort and performance out of Joe Ledley. He's a manager's dream.

Celtic should get his contract situation sorted out before the end of this season. We can't afford to go into next season with Joe Ledley in the last year of his contract, we could end up losing him on a free transfer. That would be a disaster.

I really want him to stay. He's one of our most important players and I'd be pretty gutted if he left.

He is a key player in the wales squad, did get a dodgy penalty against croatia in the first half - wales leading 1-0

Ledley is very average in the position he plays, maybe if he plays further forward he'd score a lot of goals. He has an eye for goal, a good shot, good in the air and a real physical presence.

There is no danger of him ever playing in an attacking role, due to the options we have. He's a good squad player, but if we want to change the midfield and play a different style of football, i'd look to offload him at the first opportunity.

If we sign two midfielders in the Summer and keep all the midfielders we have, then we have the same problem.

Kayal, Brown, Ledley, Wanyama are all too similar. Wanyama is probably gonna go. Wanyama has been out for a couple of games and Ledley played. I didn't see much to inspire any thoughts that he was capable of running midfield.

Ledley is an average player, good physically and a danger in the box, we play him defensive midfield. Someone from midfield has to go, whether that be Kayal or Ledley i guess it would probably be Kayal, because Ledley's better than Kayal.
People say we need a guy that can unlock defenses and Joe Ledley just isn't the man to do that.

If we could get good money for him, i'd do the deal tomorrow and try and get someone in that is more entertaining to watch.

I think he could play as a target man up front, bit it a'int happening in this lifetime.

I reckon ledley would stay even on reduced wages, think he loves the club. Hope so anyway!

Ledley on reduced wages? Can't see that happening. Every player loves the club, but just because they love the club, doesn't mean they will hang around forever.

Big Joe's done a good job for us, but he's gonna want a move to the big money and the league of everyone's dreams. Why wouldn't he? More money, closer to home, better league - new challenge.

If we get good money, it suits us and big Joe. 4-5 million does the deal and the money goes to refresh the midfield. Honestly we've got way too many midfielders that rely on passing the ball out wide to defenders. I want defenders to defend and midfielders to attack - not the other way around.

Ill second that. Ledley is one of the most important players in this team and is one of the first players on the team sheet. Simple as. The work he puts in is second to none. And he would score more if other players looked for him and played to his level. Don't know how many times I've seen him lookin for the 1-2 at the box and the other player misses it and plays the wrong pass.
He is quite simply a cut above the majority at Celtic and were lucky to have someone so committed and talented at Celtic.

Ledley's a danger inside the box. I'd love to see him in their more often. But i have to completely disagree with this over the top assessment of Joe Ledley being some kind of footballing genius. He breaks up play and plays a simple pass, these things are easy.

You learn how to play a power game when you're 10 years old. He can't dribble and is slow. Sure we all shower him with praise, because he has come out on several occasions and said great things about the club.

Football wise, he's been a model pro. But right now, with Brown and Wanyama out the team - he looks average at best.

Plus, he scores a fair bit for a midfielder that spends half his time covering out of position players and it's big goals to.

He does have excellent passes in his locker to, the likes of the ball through to Sammy for the first goal of his double at Ibrox was a thing of beauty.

Where exactly did i say he played centre mid?

Sorry, i should have just said, he's the best player in the UK and that is why all the teams in England have been chapping at the door offering millions of pounds to sign him, but Ledley has been holding off for a big move to Barcelona.
