Hate to say it but I agree. I don't want him to go, just want him to learn from his mistakes. If we get rolled over against them again, or in any other big game through making mind-boggling decisions and refusing to play players on form and giving chance after chance to fuds like Loovens and Samaras, the fans will just lose patience with him and he will eventually fall on his own sword. I've been a staunch supporter of Lenny but I admit that my patience is starting to slip with him big time, but I would give him til the end of the season and if we don't win the league, he should walk.

I think it's becoming very obvious that Neil Lennon is NOT the man to mange the club - sadly. Maybe all * he has had to put with over the past year is just too much for him.

I really hope he will walk away with his head held high and not be sacked. The team selection today was completely astonishing and leave you thinking this man doesn't know what he's doing. It might be ok to hump the likes of Motherwell etc, but when it comes to the games that matter, he's clearly out of his depth.

The cheapest option is never the best.

Well that's fair enough, but I just have a different opinion. I don't think Forrest would have done much, and Ledleys a great player just not a game changer. I am fully confident that we will pump them next time :50:

I dont understand why its so difficult to stick to what you know. We know, as does lenny that mulgrew is best at centre half. It was proved on many occasions last season and this. Why change that?! Also whats thpoint in buying all these midfielders if they aint gona play there!? Work around what you have, dont move a proven player to a position he not proven at! Am so baffled by the selection today. I am a great bleever in hqving a solid spine thru middle of team, and workin round it.. But deviating from the basics against that mob baffles me. Tinkering and trying new things at mordor shud never happen!

Have to say that today hammered home just how poor a side we are at the moment !!The mentality and winners that are needed in these big games are nowhere to be seen and no amount of 4 or 5 goal drubbings against the rest of the pish in our league should be allowed to cover it up any longer !! That is a crap rangers team but they are together for the fight and sadly that is the difference between the 2 sides , imo we have some nice players in fact thats the problem theyre far to nice !! How many seasons do we have to endure this * * poor defending before somebody at celtic decides to do something about it * gutted !!

    Just a thought

We had the better of the old firm games last season and never won the league, also lost the 1st one last season and went on to top the league for a good while. These games seem to be having less baring on the league now.

Yeah we were pish in a few departments, and that needs to be addressed, as long as players and management get a grip and realise this we will be fine.

We support this team for a reason, and they can't be successful if we don't support them no matter what.

Nothing is decided after 7 games. Lets keep the faith as anything can happen in this game!

    Agreed

We have no chance of winning the league this year if we continue with this guy in goals and our kamikazi defence.

sorry budd.......but history repeats itself....last year the league should of been in the bag.....we could of moved on improving the team ...however we,ve gone backwards.....forster on loan was an amaturish carry-on any self respecting top flight club has an established keeper ...not dipping into third choice reserves of e.p.,l....lennon is tactically inept ...he was pumping long balls and kept spraying balls wide even though we were operating with no established wingers...he,s picked a half-fit brown to leave a fit ledley on the bench and still would,nt sub him although he was injured ...keyal shouts and motivates players ...he,s our captain......loovens at the back ....why....sammy up front ....why? it shjows he has great faith in his new striker does,nt it if he cant whack sammhy to a starting birth........sorry mate this is glasgow celtic ...not chesterfield or cowdenbeath...the pressure is on to win things and lennons not going too...are you seriously telling me we,ve to rely on rangers falling foul of smaller spl teams ...get a grip there tails are up ...and mcoist has now bullied lennon by showing he had a greater understanding of what was going on.....lenny hand your badge in before the your greatest backers turn.....i write this with heavy heart by the way!

Right now we are a famous club in history and tradition only ,we have a huge fanbase that at the very least deserves to see a team thats prepared to at least fight and hurt everytime they pull on the hoops !! We get a second chance in europe and as usual we give ourselves no chance because after a few minutes we're a goal down and more often than not its just basic * poor defending thats the cause !! Today we got a couple of breaks but still we folded tamely these players are * and dont deserve to wear the jersey its a * shambles at the club top to bottom sadly

Unless a centre half is signed in January the league is a goner, which is unthinkable.

What a truly depressing prospect that is.

If we lose this one then we're *, Lennon will need to go and * only knows where we will go from there.

Still a long way to go this season right enough.

Add a Target man to that list if we do not sign both i would say league has gone we must * sign Baba.

4 starts 3 goals already just 1 off Óscar Cardozo.

he got 11 goals in the league last season now Óscar Cardozo only 12 .

Watched him the last couple of games his movement is class strong as * great pace and * fantastic in the air .

Our biggest hope, if our form continues to be flakey all season, to win the league is if they sell Jelavic.

im not a fan of all the negativity myself and hate at times when the threads are down and out.....but after todays performance it shouldnt be any other way!!

the three things that annoyed me most was

    1. the team management in all areas,we lost that game before we even got on the pitch with a line up like that!!
    2. the lack of fight and respect those eleven players showed out there today
    3. having to look at us changing our set up AGAIN in a big game when these same tactics havent gotten us anywhere lately, why cant we just try it once lenny to line up in a big game like we do for instance against motherwell and have a go at things!!:31:

sorry rant over, just seemed the kinda thread to let it out!

It wasn't really mate,we scored our 1st against the run of play and the 2nd was a howler.I really like Lenny but my patience is running on empty with him.he plays a certain way and team 90% of games and changes things drastically when big games come along.we have had both sammy and stokes on the wings at home to sion.sammy on the wing in sion.sammy on the wing in Madrid.then today we have mulgrew probably our best centre half playing left wing,Joe Ledley one of our best ball winning and controlling midfielder on the bench and stokes probably our most on form player on the bench.it really is baffling and def points towards Lenny not having a clue and not being up to the job
