I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter books. Been reading them since I was in P6.
When you read them, you can't help but become absorbed in that world. Anyone else a fan?
And what's your favourite book of the seven?

Funny, I was just going through them all again :50:
Favourite? I think Goblet of Fire as it's the hinge point between winsome charm and grim terror, though Prisoner of Azkaban, which beautifully tinkers with time, either ties it for 1st place or else is a close 2nd. -

I agree with you on your point about Goblet of Fire. It's the last book that still seems to have an innocence about it. I think some of Rowling's best work is in that book.
Azkaban is actually my least favourite of all 7. I'm not sure why, I've just never really connected with it as much.
I wish that the first book had a wee bit more detail about the wizarding world though. It just seems to be over too quickly. -

Chamber of Secrets doesn't grab me as much, though it's well written and certainly key in later plot advances.

HBP (#6) for the win. Shame the film is going to * it up as Alan Rickman/Snape would have got the screen time he deserves but probably won't happen.

Yeh Ive read them all, startin read them when i was about 11, very good books.
I liked the order of the phoenix, really opened up the storyline and it was the first book after about a 3 year wait. Cant argue with the goblet of fire, the last one deathly hallows was also deadly, she finished the series well. They are books you get glued into and their not kiddie books what anyone says. -

I absolutely love them, been reading them since I was about 9 and still love them. The one that really sticks out for me is Azkaban, but the film of it was * which has put me off slightly. I don't know, just hasn't got the same feel after the huge let down I thought the film was. Can't really pick a least favourite, thoroughly enjoyed each one as I read them, looking forward to the next movie this summer.:50:
