    What's the situation with the Serbian League this season, I understand there will be a Scottish style split after April, how does that pan out? Does it mean 4 derbies this season, 2 after April?

    If so will try and get over for the Marakana derby

    They started the season earlier in mid July this season with fixtures only arranged up until April with obviously the split fixtures to follow, I know it was criticised but I'm sure it was Copied from the Belgian League system, can't remember if the split was to play each other once or twice again.

    Think it rubbish myself, I think it's just refered to as a Play OFF, in my view whoever has the most points after 30 games are Champions.....all very American and hope it's a one off

    Yeah. they copied Belgian system. After the split, points will be cut to half, so the competition can be more interesting (so that other teams apart from Zvezda and Partizan can at least hope to win the league). I'm not sure how many derbies will be played this year though, maybe 4 (I'm not sure will teams play two games against each other after the split)?

    Great match yesterday, entertaining game with great goals. This morning majority of people live better in Serbia. :icon_mrgreen:

    I did watch a stream and you are right in saying it was a good game.

    I went to the riot game in April, thank * for the riot and Piro as apart from that there was nothing worth looking at that night, as bad a game I've ever seen at any level

    At which part of the stadium were you located, hopefully you weren't injured. Yes, that game was awful, people say how this game from last weekend was one of the best derbies to watch as an neutral football fan in a long, long time.

    Where it is different is you can just roll up and buy as many tickets as you want in the opponents end meaning it's almost impossible to police, the game I went to last season it all kicked off big time due to Grobari having bought tickets down the side next to Delije, this can happen at any game as they never sell out, for the record even the best seats in the main stand are less than a tenner.

    This fixture is so mental I attended one about 5 years ago where Partizan had 2 away ends, Grobari and Alcatraz, this was because they couldn't be put in the same area as it would go off due to internal politics, spent most of the game launching pyro at each other......
