Today is the 93rd anniversary of the beginning of the Easter Rising, 24th April to the 30th April, 1916.
Let's remember Pearse and Connolly, and all the brave men and women who gave there lives in the name of Irish freedom.

Who fears to speak of Easter Week?
:shamrock:
Something has been bothering me for some time, though.
Are Pearse, Connolly, Clarke et al turning in their graves and do people not wonder would they have revolted against British rule if the 26 counties were to be left in the hands of self-serving gangsters and shysters like Biffo, Brian Lenihan, Bertie Ahern etc?
They're a disgrace to the memory of those brave men and women, and should be utterly ashamed of themselves for daring to invoke their names and cause at this time of year. -
