Good man that is impressive. I can never push it when I am doing it myself. I need others around to compete with to get results. Men always say add weight for squats as bodyweight is a waste of time. I agree that you should try to add weight to your squats but I done 300 BW squats for time one night and * me I could hardly walk for the next few days.

Bodyweight can definitely be rough. The thing about the app I use is that it makes you push yourself even when you're working out alone - it has a really well structured programme and tells you exactly what to do. When a US Special forces instructor tells you what to do, you do it, even if it's just on the app :smiley-laughing002:

I'm not that familiar with a paleo but I do eat a low carb high fat diet so I love cheese tbh.

I thought paleo was a highish fat diet with a moderate amount of carbs ie. Sweet potato etc

Nope but there are certain types which are much better for you. Feta for example.

There's a slight difference between eating Kraft cheese slices and eating cheese from organic, grass fed, cows.

Nothing wrong with losing a kilo a week. Far too general to dismiss it as being unhealthy. As long as it's done through exercise and healthy diet then there's nothing unhealthy about it.

    Yeah.. No *.

We are talking about nutrition and adding cheese to a soup so I hardly think anyone is under the impression we are talking about firing cheese strings into a soup ffs :smiley-laughing002:

So cheese isn't just cheese then and he had a valid question? :56:

It is far more complicated than you made it out to be. Cottage cheese, for example, has a very high protein content and they recommend eating that before bed as it's slow release and stops you going into a catabolic state.

A block of cheap 'reduced fat' cheddar is processed, will have came from poor sources and won't be as good for you.

He asked about adding it to a soup didn't he?

I don't think many recipes call for adding * reduced fat cheddar into a soup.

    Parmigiano-Reggiano
    Chedder
    Cottage cheese
    Goats cheese.
    Gruyere

Adding to soup cheese is cheese :smiley-laughing002:

I dont think it would be healthy for me, i never got too out of shape though. Like I said it is easier to shed weight if you are over weight to begin with. In my experience if you are fighting to get to your optimum weight then you will never lose it that quickly near the end. At my worst I was 2 stone over weight. The first stone dropped off me quickly but dropping the last stone was a million times harder. I dont think I ever dropped a kilo in a week though no matter how hard i worked.

I don't eat a lot of dairy or at least try to because it flares my acne. Its a struggle because i really like cheese!

Ill be going to the gym again starting tomorrow, just weight training. Going back to eating healthier. Wholewheat, protein, nuts, sweet potato etc...

I work in an office so unfortunately people bring in cakes all the fecking time. Im not overweight by any stretch of the imagination being just under 5'11 and 11 stone.

But i do want to eat healthier like i used to when i trained for half marathons. Seemed to have gotten really lazy since i started working in an office!

I know man, nightmare isn't it - we get lunch bought for us sometimes cakes, pizza's the whole shooting match - and there is NEVER a healthy option so it's either eat * or *' starve*

*or buy your own lunch, but * that when it's free grub :50:
