Got really excited when Marquez won the first judges scorecard was praying for a corrupt decision :56:

I say it everytime I watch boxing but they need to change the way they award fights. Why not just say who you think won at the end or call it a draw without rounds? rounds are only there to give the boxers a rest, they're not mini fights within a fight - although thats what they've become. Also much more boxing matches should be called draws.

If that exact fight took place on the street, everyone would walk away saying "pair a fannies, nobody won that". Because even though Bradley looked more in control and stylish what did he actually do in over half an hour of "fighting"? near enough heehaw. Marquez was in no danger of being battered even though he done nothing himself.

I see what you're saying about the scoring system, it could probably be improved upon, but I do feel that the suggestion of scoring the fight as a whole would open it up to many more crap decisions.

The street fight analogy is bad though, boxing is never supposed to resemble a street fight and hopefully top level boxing never will, because generally the street fights you see are between two guys who simply can't fight. It's like in the UFC, a sport which resembles a street fight more than boxing does, it doesn't resemble an actual street fight because the guys can actually fight, if that makes sense.

Lomachenko looked mint, and nobody should be doubting the calibre of his opponent. He's very much a seasoned professional. I actually think he fought the correct fight in pressurizing Lomachenko and trying to make his pro-debut as uncomfortable as possible.

This guy will be a world champion before 2015 I reckon.

Bradley looked very good, while JMM just looked static and old despite his excellent timing. I wonder if we'll be seeing Bradley vs Mayweather anytime soon, and a 5th fight between JMM and Pacquiao.

Both quite intriguing fights, in fact between the 4 of them, the only one that doesn't really interest me is JMM vs Mayweather.

I was slightly let down with the Bradley v Marquez fight. Not massively though, it was far from the worst I have seen. Bradley boxed really well I thought, and definitely deserved to win. How one of the judges scored it in Marquez's favour is beyond belief.
