I gave it to Catterall, my problem is these English * * in their pants with every jab he through.

Surprised Caterrall didn't go down and spark out the judges. With decisions like that you wonder what's the point, putting yourself on the line and getting incompetent/corrupt judges to score the fight. Feel for the guy, should be walking out there with the win

It was a Greg Taylor performance..

Was a dreadful boxing match I thought, Catterall was boxing tidier for 6 rounds but even then there was very little action and Catterall was also quite dirty and seemed to need talking to once a round.

Knockdown was fair and square, although I did think in that round the rest of the round Taylor got the better of it so could have been 9-9 instead of 10-8? unless its 10-8 at best and you cant "win" a round you were knocked down.

Overall i'd say Taylor won 2/3 of the last 4 rounds and Catterall won 3/4 of the first 6 rounds, some rounds could be draws as little happened.

In the end I thought Catterall maybe won and Taylor probably didn't but either way it was unconvincing from both for me, was scrappy as * and barely any hits worth making a highlight reel at the end. The ref was more involved than the boxers, had to talk to Catterall about 10 times and Taylor 3 or 4 as well.

For an undisputed chapionship fight it looked like a couple of daftys.

 

I've just got my wife into boxing; she's come to love the buildup, love the spectacle, love to anticipation, and relish in the fights themselves. Results like that have her questioning whether this sport is for her and who can blame her? It's ridiculous, and I think everyone on this forum before this fight called themselves a Taylor fan & yet I haven't seen one person call that fight for Taylor, so how two of the three judges seen it for Taylor is simply absurd.

 

Styles make fights and Taylor had no answer to the style Catterall adopted tonight - which is bizarre as the answer was SO simple… step back and pick your shots. He’s not so stupid that he wouldn’t have realised that himself - surely!? Had to be the arrogance of being a heavy favourite (thinking that he’ll turn eventually switch Catteralls lights out?).
