His skills would have him ranked higher than his accomplishments currently do, but again, it's not close to being the best skillset of all time.

I would love to say I saw the GOAT in his prime in my lifetime. Mayweather is miles off though.

The Boxing Writers Association didn't even believe he was the best fight of the last decade, never mind the best ever. These guys know the sport and have been around it for a long time. Plenty of them will have seen the Ali's, Duran's, Leonard's etc

He isn't even the best welterweight if all time, never mind the best boxer ever.

Not a chance, and unfortunately there's really nothing he can do about it. He can continue outpointing his opponents, but he doesn't hold a candle to the likes of Hearns, Leonard & Duran as far as lighter weight fighters go.

His biggest issue is that he wasn't around during an era like that, or like the one Ali was involved in during his career.

I guess it's natural for younger fans to claim that Mayweather is the greatest of all time simply because he's the guy they've been watching, but there's no way he'll ever go down as such when it comes to those who know the sport inside & out.

I don't hate him at all, I have massive respect for him. Fighting Khan would be utterly pointless though, he's already been 'taken care of' on 3 seperate occasions to lesser fighters.

If we want to give him another proper challenge, Canelo was one, GGG would be the best option and he is willing to fight him.

Khan promoters have said a fight in the UK might not happen because Mayweather makes so much from ppv in America and Mayweather probably wouldn't want to leave Vegas and give up his home advantage. to be honest a fight between Khan and Mayweather doesn't do anything to excite me everyone already knows Mayweather would win easily Khan is one of the most over rated boxers around with a glass jaw if the fight did happen in Wembley I'd be very surprised if it sold out

Mayweather has mentioned a few times that he would like to fight in the UK. Don't know how genuine he's being, but Khan would be the obvious option.

I think it would be competitive and exciting in the early rounds. Mayweather isn't a particularly fast starter whereas Khan starts at 100mph. Mayweather would no doubt take over after a few and beat him up on the inside on his way to stopping him if he commits to it. Think it would be exciting though, Khan's rarely involved in a boring fight.

If this video is anything to go by, Haye is looking in mint condition.

He looked in mint condition going into his bout with Klitschko as well though, didn't he? With Haye it all comes down to how his opponent plays it.

If they come in, respecting his power and allow him to fight his own fight he's excellent. If they pressure him and make him go places he doesn't want to go he doesn't like it.

I have a feeling that if big Tyson cracks him early it could result in the upset.

I really hope Fury takes a battering.

I cannot stand Haye. Fury however is a disgrace.

Anyone seen those ghastly t-shirts he's trying to punt.

I'm not a particularly big fan of Fury, but I want him to beat Haye for the simple reason that I want to see Fury face a Klitschko more than I want to see Haye do so.

The last bout that Haye fought against Wladimir was an absolute embarrassment. I have a feeling that Fury would do what few men do against either Klitschko. He'll actually go in there and try to win.

I think Fury's haters still see him as the out of shape halfwit who punched himself a few years ago, whereas he's matured into a stronger, cleverer fighter under Peter Fury. His trainer wasn't in his corner in the Cunningham fight and he went back to being stupid and reckless but he still won.

I just think the fight may have come one or two match ups too soon, and he's never fought in a massive arena before unlike Haye so could get wound up easily. I agree it would be far more interesting to see him match up against a Klitschko than Haye and I don't think they would try and fight him.

I've seen that on his crappy t-shirts but not him.

Isn't that the reason you dislike Andy Murray even though he supports Hibs and is clearly unenthusiastic about being pictured with it?

Would a British or Irish boxer have to do a ring walk in a balaclava behind the starry plough before he got your support?

He sells them. He wears them. It's a mockery for someone to be shouting TAL. Much like Paul McCartney.

No, I've never said. I dislike Murray because he's a Unionist. I don't like Hibs either.

They wouldn't be a British boxer then would they.

Haye actually wears it on his shorts alongside the Jamaican flag. :86:

He probably feels he has to acknowledge the country he was brought up in in some way, would be worse if it was the flag of St George.
