Even more one sided than I thought, and I expected a one sided beat down and stoppage.

Boxing is still the most underdeveloped ‘real’ martial art in MMA, by a distance. I know Askren isn’t representative, but still....

I remember at the peak of the Conor vs Floyd hype someone telling me that Askren could beat Canelo in stand up if he was allowed to kick him

Definitely not fake for me. You can see Paul land a big shot that jolts Askrens head back. He gets up but he’s wobbly as *. Could’ve continued but would’ve been down again and likely out seconds later.

Given what unfolded vs Sevco this afternoon, this fight actually made for relatively pleasant viewing.

 

Wonder if the people expecting Askren to smash him have actually seen Askren fight.

 

Apparently Hearn has indeed left sky for DAZN. Always good seeing sky get * over but sneaky Hearn will have that 1.99 per month up in no time.

Don't know how these away fighter's find tge motivation when they put month's in in camp, away from family to travel over seas, do a number....only to be robbed of a win..

 

That result was up there with Smith v Ryder. A * disgrace, that fat * McDonnell should be sacked on the spot, corrupt *.
Literally nobody thought Adeleye won that fight, he won 1 round at most.

Will generate gazillions and there won’t be a boxing fan on the planet remotely interested.

One half of the audience (teenage boys) will want to see Paul get annihilated and the other half (teenage girlies) will want to see him get lucky.

I’m actually in team ‘get lucky’. Would be * hilarious if Mayweather sleep-walked into a freak KO - what a way to ruin such a carefully built legacy!
