I know what your saying mate was a good fight,but everyone is just totally aggrieved by the main event and the score cards

I get that 100% mate just putting a positive slant that there was some good stuff on show tonight and it was in the fight before..
All the talk will be of Beltran being robbed and rightly so but Simmons deffo gets a mention for a gutsy performance..

Was painful watching Ricky take that punishment tonight,on the ropes constantly and holding..
Hated watching the fight to be honest,but again that's credit to the challenger..
This was the biggest fight of his life and it showed

 

So did I if its any comfort,judges scorecard aside Ricky has some heart but deep down I don't think he will want to fight Beltran again,because stuff like tonight sticks no matter how mentally tough you are

 

Yeah the wee man is still a champion and top guy to me..
One thing that can't be questioned is his heart,he's a warrior..

I am leaning to that aswell he took some big punishment tonight and he might feel that that's not a road he wants to go down again..
For boxing integrity the rematch needs to happen..

If it does go ahead,Ricky needs to take time out and work hard on his tactics/game plan as twice on the trot it's been terrible..
There's been 2 excuses both fights over training and the baby,then the dislocated jaw during so time away,focus,train hard,also feel like he's lost abit of strength on his jab that he started to gain..
He was never a big hitter but then he came on and so did his power,he seems to have gone backwards..

 

Disgraceful by the judges the Mexican guy was robbed...

 

Ricky Burns v Beltran

Hard to believe the guy just went 10 rounds of boxing with a dislocated jaw! Well done Ricky Bhoy. Well deserved champion! Hail hail

Hard as nails but was well beaten tonight, Mexican lad was robbed

 

Feel really sorry for Beltran, he deserved to win. Seems like a nice guy as well, judging by the interview after the fight. He was spot on, think of all the hard work they put in for months only to be robbed like that.

Disgusting from the judges.

That's 2 fights in a row Ricky Burns rode his luck,in fairness in the last fight he showed some * balls and dug deep for the win.

But tonight was just not something a champ would produce...........BUT...........he fought on with a * up jaw,and fair * to him,hopefully he will produce the goods in his next fight.

I can't see Hearn letting Burns fight the same guy again in his next fight,and especially not going to happen in America as some people are wanting.

Burns needs a confidence boosting fight.

I heard someone mention Broner earlier.........Please * i hope Ricky never meets this fella,it would be a disaster for Ricky going on his last 2 fights.

 

He didnt deserve anything from that fight,my dad lost a £50 wager to a stupid decision...

 

Eddie Hearn was just speaking to SSN there saying he can't guarantee Burns will fight again as he's getting surgery for a broken jaw and has to get a titanium plate inserted!

I knew he was tough but to fight for 10 rounds with an injury like that is phenomenal. Feel sorry for Beltran though, well won the fight but can obviously see why Burns was looking to spoil and hold so much, especially with the amount of power that * had in his left hook.

 

Good, I hope he chucks it. He's * anyway.

Burns held and held and held for most of the fight. Beltran put everything into that fight and was robbed. No wonder people don't watch Boxing anymore with unfair decisions like this.

Burns is a weak paper champion.

 

Recorded this last night as I was out and knew I was gonna miss it. Just watched it back and I find the decision shocking. I would have had Beltran 115-112

 

Ever want to see how boxing is so corupt, this a fight to watch.
The Mexican lad said the truth, they where never going to let their investment lose in his home country.

 

Aye it was a terrible decision. Boxing needs to scrap the way its judged, how come in every fight, no 2 judges ever score something the same, it clearly doesnt work. I think they need to do away with round/point awarding.

The fight should be judged overall once its finished by either calling it a win to someone or a draw. A lot of the boxing matches I watch, id call draws, yet draws are so rare.

Think its a farce in boxing that someone can be called a "winner" even though the other guy can come out looking like the fight hasnt started yet just because one guy gave the other a couple more slaps during a few rounds of the fight. 90% of MMA makes 90% of Boxing look like chess.
