To be honest, I don't think Khan would trouble Mayweather any more than the likes of Mosley, Alvarez etc and I think Mayweather had an off night vs Maidana and still won. Comfortable win for Mayweather imo

Would be interesting to see a Khan vs Pacquaio fight though and they were sparring partners at one point. Don't think Khan has really fought anyone competively as aggressive as Manny so would be interesting to see how he responds on the back foot.

I do like Khan though and beating Devon Alexander so convincingly was a great feat.

It isn't a question of rating mayweather and pacquiao higher than garcia - I think everyone does. Mayweather just doesn't have real one punch KO power or the mentality to go for the KO. His last legitimise stoppage as far as I can remember was against Ricky Hatton in 2008. I doubt we'll see another one in his career.

Khan wouldn't last 5 rounds with Pacquiao he would get hit on his glass Jaw and fold Pacman is a world class fighter and Khan is just a good fighter there is a difference everyone thinks the next guy will cause mayweather problems Saul Alvarez Maidana and he makes it look incredibly easy that is because he Is also world class the only fight I want to see if the two world class fighters Mayweather n Pac go at it.

A lot of people underestimating Khan here, especially after the weekends performance.

Khan would cause Mayweather a lot of problems as would Pacman. Maidana pushed him to the limit in the first fight and proved he is beatable. Khan is a better fighter than Maidana.

Khan has had a lot of glowing performances in his career and then he will go out and get caught clean on his chin and fold that's what stopped khan going on to greatness IMO he is all flashy hands but can't take a clean hit to his chin without being all over the shop Garcia caught him knocked him all over the place and Garcia is not a great fighter Maidana thought Khan before Maidana was even on the top of his game and hit him in the jaw and he was flapping about like a fish out the water but somehow held on Prescott caught him and it was lights out instantly - am not saying he is a bad fighter I am pointing out the obvious he is just not great and will never be world class .

Freddie roach has already said Pacman knocked Khan down 4 to 5 times in sparring not that sparring matters but its the same thing someone hits him clean hes light out Devon alexander was a weak fighter and if khan didn't win that his career would of been over.

How many times has Khan went out and got caught clean on his chin?

His 'glass chin' is vastly over-egged. Earlier in his career he would get involved in brawls when he had no need to and he got caught regularly because of it. This weekend proved he can face World class opposition and stick to a game plan. He boxed beautifully.

I'm not suggesting for a second he would beat Mayweather but it wouldn't be the walk in the park it's being made out to be. With that being said I, as well as everyone else, wants to see Mayweather/Pac.

I think because of Khan's speed against Mayweathers style he could cause him problems but only in the same way Maidana did the first time I don't think the fight would be a close one by the bell at the end tbh and I really believe that pacman would ko him inside so many rounds.

What iv said about Khan is my opinion having watched him for a long time I am not even against him believe it or not I actually like watching him because he gives you excitement but I believe there is so many fighters out there right now who are a lot better than him and if we are speaking world class I would say Pacman and Mayweather are in a league of their own and that's why that fight has to happen.

You didn't answer the question though :56:for someone with a glass chin he's a 2 time World Champion with 1 KO and 1 TKO on his record. Can't be that bad.

When did I say he was bad?
He is just not as good as you think that's all 30 fights 3 loses and a few fights hes been all over the shop and won by the skin of his teeth .

AGAIN ! he is good maybe even a great fighter at a push but he is not world class and does not rank among the elite fighters .

Pacquiao and Mayweather should have fought about 3/4 year ago. It's a joke how it's never happened, they need to fight, then Kahn can fight someone else and if he wins that he can fight the loser.

Khan would have to get Mayweather to open-up to stand a chance, and as we all know, Mayweather just won't do that. He knows what works for him and he sticks with that same tedious (but admittedly winning) style.

Sadly Pacman / Mayweather would be a sideshow for the real boxing fan now. :54:

Really wish they'd gotten it on a few years back as Manny was probably the only fighter who has (had) the intensity required to force Floyd into changing his game-plan. That said, Mayweather is so stubborn, that I suspect he would have just done his time-honoured 'thing' and gone down with his ship... and is probably why he ducked the fight for so long.

    Would have been fascinating!

I think think pacquiao could beat Floyd his style is so unique and his punches carry weight and can come at speed from all angles he wont stop going forward and he wont give Floyd a seconds rest if he doesn't win I reckon he would run him very close .

Floyd likes to run and score points his punches don't even usually hold much weight he is out to outbox folk duck dive and land clean shots but with Manny u also have a fighter who can and will score a lot of points.
