Although I think Calzaghe would beat Froch, there's no doubt who's accomplished (and risked) more in his career. That counts in boxing a lot more than an undefeated record. One if the reasons I think Froch will be ranked well ahead of Calzaghe when his career is over.

i was supporting another englishman as i have done for years, so that doesn't stand up..

 

Froch would have to fight DeGale or give up the belts, as far I'm aware James is mandotary challenger

Well am afraid you wrong. When it's all set and done, 20 years from now, most people would tell you Calzaghe would destroy Froch. And rightly so because he would. So Calzaghe will always be remembered more highly than Froch.
