Guys FFS - lets get real here.

We cant compare the old board to the current one.

The old board were killing the club while we had a * team on the pitch winning * all. The current board are the most business savvy people around. Football is a business. Anyone really think if we had spent 15 million on 2 players we would have won, no.

They won because they wanted it more - thats how it works. They wanted it more than we did, simple. Just like we wanted it more than they did at the end of last season. Its 1 defeat FFS against a Rangers team who clicked like NOBODY could have predicted.

Iv not posted on here for a few days because I was ragin but lets look at the bigger picture.

Actually it's not that weird... that cat looks like it's at least 5 years old and a 14yr old cat ... well... ok... maybe it is weird. 14yr olds gotta be like 80 in human terms...

As I said earlier mate - not comparing this board to the Kelly's or worried about what Rangers are doing - I just want to at least see the starting 11 improved every year. We just haven't done that this year.

to be onest we dont know why more players havent been signed but it doesnt necessarily mean thats because they dont wanna spend decent money but more likely a combination of price / wages / getting them to scotland . look at the sammy deal original price was 3 mill but they haggled and got him for a fraction and wgs mentioned over the weekend how it was funny that players who where 4 million a month ago where now being offered around on loan ( tamas ) so maybe its been a bit of everything but fopr sure they have said all along they had money there but couldnt for a variety of reasons get who they wanted

Have your opinion but the way you put it across in this thread leave's a lot to be desired in my opinion.

I never called anyone a hun, you're reading what you want to read. I said this thread would be suited perfectly to a FollowFollow one. Ramblings with no substance other than you want a better product on the park but aren't willing to concede our hands our tied due to the league we play in.

There are no smokescreens here, we are a plc that publishes our accounts, every single penny is accounted for and is available to you as much as me as much as every other fan that wants to actually deal in proper facts and not 'i wish oor board wood sing somebody cos we pay hunners for oor ticket and get hunners of telly money'

There are no 'smoke and mirrors' what an extremely patronising tone to take.

Do you fully understand how well our club is run just now in relation to how it was in the past or are you just dealing in your usual pessimism?

If we went out and bought St Mirrens first team and they won the league every year i'd sugar coat to the high heavens your quite right.

What is hard to grasp just now about the fact we've won 3 in a row, got through to the last 16 twice and we're in another all the while reducing our debt to never before seen levels whilst our biggest rivals have won nothing more than diddy cups and have ever growing debt?

Don't try and tell me it's not because we lost 1 game of football because i wasn't born yesterday, the apathy is borne of being beat off rangers nothing more/nothing less.

this is my first year as a season ticket holder and im starting to think this could be a season to forget. we just arent good to watch. Why should we pay for strips and tickets when they wont pay for one player who can make a difference to our team. all we wanted was a couple of players who make a difference to our eleven but all we got was bench and squad players at best. no left back. no quality. nothing.
