Absolutely - all 3 of them have to go and a fresh approach is required.

Roy Keane said that, when he was approached for the job - he was told who his assistant would be and that it wasn't negotiable. Also, I'm pretty sure the original plan in 2014 was to put Ronny in as coach/assistant under Lennon before Lennon left.

That's a lot of BS - if we do get a new manager - he needs to be allowed to bring in his own assistant head/coach and should have some input into head of recruitment.

You can't have the board selecting a manager, coach and head of recruitment and then introducing them to each other a few weeks before the season starts.

 

Wonder what tomorrow's daily dose of bullshit is gonna come out?

The completion of the player lounge?
The sacking of a physio?

I’ll never understand why people / clubs delay the inevitable!

The Club requires major surgery from the boardroom to the coaching and playing staff.

10 in a row is done and we have nothing left to play for except from the Scottish Cup. Why postpone change until the Summer?! We need to make the most of the next few months and get the infrastructure and personnel in just now.

Trying to rebuild the club solely in the summer months will be a colossal task.

 

Step down may be the rumours of lawwell and forced out, maybe bankier?
Those two gone would be a good start.
Though if his son is in finance more so than other things, perhaps looking to replace Chris McKay?

The rest of the board (Desmond aside) seem to be non-exec (not sure what that means on the running of the club, but I'm kind of assuming they don't do much?).
If we are looking to shake that lot up, and the backroom staff, then that's certainly the sort of shake up we are needing and as best we can hope for while Desmond keeps his control.

Should have been the first things out in motion when we decided to go down the route of buying hidden gems long ago only way for the system to work properly and have continued success especially in Europe

Thing is he should have stepped in before now. He is just as guilty as Lawwell for what’s has happened this season for me.

 

Nope he didn't step up when needed, ge stepped up when his ego was hurt when we've got Rodgers in.

He would have needed to step up in 2019 and didn't when Lennon was appointed in the showers. Lennon brought us over the line but there was nothing that suggested he can bring us forward. And then again this autumn, Desmond would have needed to step up to save the ten but he was too busy cheering for a, obviously to all, * manager who showed he has close to none tactical knowledge.

Desmond is as much responsible as Lawwell and Lennon for * up the 10! He had the power to change it for the better but he chose not to do so. Useless *

 

Could Desmond son be taking over from lawell I’d assume his son gets wedge being apart of his other companies so is this to free up lawell wages. 3 million is 2 of that is spent in a top rated coach

I wonder if they will formally announce Lawwell’s retirement in the coming weeks to appease the fans.

I was surprised this wasn’t announced at the AGM as the rest of the Board have already been made aware of this and given there had already been rumours circulating.

It is true and as @littlekennie has said above, expect Ross Desmond to be his replacement.

I mean fair enough you go on to claim you know the inner workings of the boardroom at Celtic Park but we can’t have you wondering, where’s the cast iron guarantees?

 

The board are a bunch of torie self obsessed * !! Need a full reshuffle not just lawwell

 

Actually can’t keep up with all the negative spins surrounding the club in this shitshow of a year but I know enough that major changes are needed from top to bottom right now.Delaying it until the summer will only disadvantage us further.Get it done DD.

 

Would really sum the club up.

A summer of upheaval with Desmond putting his foot down and sorting this club out.

How does he start it? By getting his son more involved.

What was Lawwell's experience with football, before coming here? I'm afraid Desmond won't hesitate one bit in turning the club into a nepotist farce.

 

Desmond needs to go too.

 

I feel he’s one of the biggest problems, but he gets away with it because his lapdogs do the bidding for him.

 

As long as they are making money they won’t care about the fans. Since Rodgers left we’ve been served up mediocrity and had nothing exciting to look forward to except loan deals from championship clubs.
