i know I for one will never put another penny into this club. I refuse to contribute to making Desmonds bank balance fatter and to contribute to Lawell's bonus that he doesnt deserve.

It's time for a new board, one where they actually invest in the team BEFORE qualifiers so we can actually qualify for things and maybe put up a fight once we get there instead of being humilated.

Maybe a fan group getting control of the club is our best option because all I know is that Desmond hasnt given a * about us since the door to english football was slammed in his face, as long as we make him a little profit every year he's happy.

This board are still trying to run this club like it's 2005, well it's not, it's 2020, either catch up with the times or * off.

I disagree. The board backed Lennon this year. It’s not their fault that Barkas, Duffy and Ajeti have been * enough. I wasn’t * off at them at all until this past month.

Real question is how do we move forward from here?

If rumour is true that PL is going then Desmond is just going to replace him with someone of similar ilk to run everything on a budget and as a business for long term financials. The rest of the board wont really change much either.

Only way real change happens is fan ownership or at least some way of fans having a bigger say in the club decisions. Over 50K season ticket holders that can't even voice an opinion at a game, there needs to be a better way to move forward from this.

They really gambling big time by doubling down again and backing Lennon, it's quickly becoming a * position if Lenny and the team don't pull a rabbit out the hat and somehow turn this around.

So a quick recap since the weekend

The board and manager accept the manager is failing
Released a statement condemning their own fans
Were asked to provide evidence of missiles thrown at players and have yet to do so
Didn't have the backbone to announce to the support Lennon would be staying
Drip fed 'exclusives' to guys like Keith Jackson to announce to the support Lennon was staying
Released a statement saying 'We're all in this together'

These aresholes playing the stubborn game are gonny cost us the league, how can they insult our intelligence by saying we're all in this together??? He's lost the * dressing room ffs, we need a new manager with some tactical ability to get us winning games, there nothing he can do now to change this and the board keeping him in place as a get it up ye to the fans wanting change won't be forgotten if a Huns team with fannie's like tavernier win the league. The arrogance of these Tory * and stubbornness of Lennon knowing this isn't what we want or need is incredible.

No mate. As far as I read it, anyone who took the 2020/21 season ticket up is perfectly secure getting the refund for the 2019/20 season.

Not sure this campaign will work out the way we're hoping it will, but fingers crossed! And fair * to some people who're in deep * for putting themselves/family first at this very difficult and expensive time.

Any other season and you know what, board get away with their disdain for fans, they get away with * our progress.

As has been evidenced in the past, they've acted this way, we've had our little moan but by and large we accepted the board were doing a decent job albeit we could be doing better if they just stuck their necks out a bit more.

This season though, it's a whole new case, it's history in the making, it's the one that eluded deadco in '98, when a random guy name Wim Jansen came in and tore up the league.

The biggest and most glaring exception here is our position now, is one that domestically should have no challengers, sure we might lose a game here or there, but title wise no one should within 10 points of us as a bare minimum when we lift the title, that is the absolute level of disparity we play at in terms of finances, resources, fan power and stadia in Scotland.

Yet our rivals, is what? A 9 year old club who are sitting pretty 11 points ahead, * 11 POINTS!, Our rivals in comparison have but a pot to * in and are dominating the league, but us as well.

It is equivalent to seeing this current Liverpool side, play in league 1 and be 11 points behind the leaders, it's unimaginable, unfathomable and no one would or should accept that level of pure unfiltered mediocrity from the club, literally no one would accept it.

That is course not the case if your Lennon or Lawwell, they are utterly blind to the situation through sheer stubbornness in their own beliefs that only they have the ability to handle this situation and for both they're running the risk, perhaps already arrived there for some.... Of completely destroying any positive stamp they have left furing their history with the club.

For Lawwell he could go from being arguably the best football CEO in world football, running such a hugely profitable outfit in probably one of the least and most underfunded "major" leagues in Europe.... To being the one who could see the same club utterly collapse to akin to levels matching the rest of the leagues accounts, that is the level of fan backlash that could be felt if the board fail to act and save the 10.

For Lennon, he runs the risk of killing any love fans have for him as a man, let alone a club legend as a player and manager, he will go from being the man who started all of this, who we would have all loved to see finish it to being the guy who singlehandedly * it all because he's a stubborn * who let's his ego run wild and being a guy we'd never want being seen around the club ever again.

The club are in a seriously perilous position that and they are playing a dangerous game gambling on that future.

Watching the Champions League and it's galling to think that over the years we have beat Ajax, Liverpool, Rennes, Lazio, Barcelona, Man Utd. and drew with Man City. If that's not a clear sign of regression then I don't know what is.

Really respect everyone applying for refunds Etc. Celtic is our club and we all love and live it. Right now though the board has not just failed us, but is making an absolute mockery of us. This is what they deserve. This is what is needed for them to realise what they’re doing. Hit them where it hurts. I’m also not spending any money on merchandise etc until our voices are heard and we see change but I really appreciate the approach you are all taking right now.

But they installed Lenny. It was clear from the beginning, that he's not the modern manager we need to progress. At least for me. When he left in 2014 I thanked him and was happy he chose the right moment to do so. We should have left it at that. But our board has no clue about football, no understanding of this business. I'm a * * and have more than those frauds.

You can take the blame away from them concerning the financial backing. Indeed they gave Lennon enough in the last year. But it's their fault for throwing money at a useless manager instead of investing exactly that money in a professional manager who actually does coaching.

TBF to Lennon he was given financial backing but the quality of player that has been identified by Hammond has been shocking. The club have spent a lot of money and very few of the players have actually improved the team.

We now have lots of players that the manager doesn't trust or believe are Celtic quality. He doesn't get to pick his own players within the structure of the club so he gets what he's given.

Does that even qualify as a statement?

An empty gesture with alot of dancing around the * issues.

"We can best prepare for that and for our other remaining competitions this season by moving forward together..."

exactly HOW are we going to do that Pete?

    utterly disgraceful.

We need to get Lawwell and the board out and we need to organise as a support to move this club forward.

If we get Lawwell out he will be replaced by someone very similar and nothing will change. We will return to the old days of winning a league every second year and continuing to fall behind our European contemporaries, enjoying a good European season every 5 years or so.

This is the opportunity to really sort this club out. We can’t lazily sit back and let them dictate to us again.

I assume they've still not provided any evidence of missiles being thrown at players at the first protest ?

Looking forward to trusty Pistol Petes, in-depth, no stone left unturned review of the managers performance. I'm sure Peter will be impartial and thorough and that sentiment will not cloud his perfect unblemished record at the club. Far be it better of in his hands, than that of the selfish, entitled, ill-informed Kestrel drinking fans.
