    No its not nitpicking mate.
Its just a different opinion from yours thats all.
You dont feel Strachan deserves to be chastised for anything, which is an opinion your entitled to and to voice.
However im sorry to say others like me dont see things in the same way.
It doesnt make anyone a better or more devout Tim depending on their opinions on Strachan, it just makes us Tims with differing opinions:50:

Jpr, no offence m8, but why not just post and debate this in the other recent threads, most of the points have been made and debated, you can add on it and further debate :50:

    a) his signing record has been poor. More than half his buys have been turkeys.

    b) he won back to back championships because we had zero opposition. His won/loss ratio was poor by the standards of the last decade, as was his goal ratio. Thats how we should measure ourselves - against ourselves, thats what successful people and organizations do. Thats to say nothing of the complete paucity of any entertainment value which has driven attendences down by 20,000.

    c) great achievment. But we were poorer in those campaigns than under O'Neil we just got a significant rub of the green both times. And dont forget Alex * McLeish managed to achieve that the year previous are you gonna tell me he's a good manager?

    d) I doubt Nakamura has provided that much revune. Im guessing he's worth a million a year, it's hardly a significant factor in our finances.

    e) no he hasn't.

BTW, just to clarify, I don't think Strachan has done a poor job. He's done a steady, solid job. I just think we could do allot better.

how on earth has his signings been poor....? Boruc....the best goalkeeper we have ever had....now valued at about ten million, Nakamura!? ....Scott Mcdonald?! Jan Vennegoor?....Scott Brown is a good signing aswell and of course his value hasn't gone down if we offerd him to EPL clubs for 6 mill im sure there would be plenty of takers. and no one can argue that he hasn't done wonders for the clubs finances, far better than MON.
