The best song intro ever

  1. Amazing, having a listen now as I've not heard it in a while. I don't think I've met one person who doesn't like this album. What I love is it demonstrates that creativity is far more powerful than technical ability. I know Cage was a master musician and composer. Don't think he was on this was he?

A Velvet Underground would ruin the economy of London, no one would want to get off. Well, apart from the 2 million on each carriage who didn't manage to get a seat.

What other albums are this popular? Seriously don't know anyone who doesn't own it. Mind you none of them formed a band but I think that only happened in the 60s and 70s. Sounds a bit like the PIxies were very influenced too.

  3. Oh yeah :50: all time classic possibly defined a generation and surely influenced Grunge and other styles after like Radiohead etc.

And it doesn't even have their best track on it, Gigantic. But they're still the best tracks of all albums that came out at that time with the exception of the genius of Sonic Youth.
