The best beer?

Discussion in 'TalkCeltic Pub' started by TicFan88, Mar 7, 2015.

  1. Good beer. It hasn't gone down well with Cloudwater fans.

The supermarkets are certainly improving their game. The craft beer lines across all supermarkets is getting better all the time.

  2. Yeah, it's nice man. NEIPA's are my thing anyway.

Its getting ridiculous (in a good way). I remember sitting in Brewdog Doghouse start of last year loving the guest fridge. I was in there last night and for the first time thought the supermarkets had this beat.

Cloudwater fans are probably a bit * because Cloudwater said they're not interested in the supermarkets - I'm sitting here patiently waiting on the Pale Ale and DDH's hitting the shelves haha

  4. Beer doesn't agree with me all that well and I tend to swerve it.

Just had a couple of Michelob Ultra. Light and not strong so won't be everyone's cup of tea, thoroughly enjoyable so I will get a few in for tomorrow :ynwacelti

  5. My favourite was Ward's bitter. A lovely beer, brewed in Sheffield.

  11. It was my favourite beer when it was brewed in a brewery in Sheffield. They used a well on the premises for water. The brewery is now flats and the beer is brewed somewhere else. Not as good any more.
    I don't get your children's TV comment.

  14. Don't drink a whole lot of beer. Have recently been moving bottles from the fridge to the freezer for half an hour before scooping, makes it ten times better.

  17. Lager and ciders have killed my guts for a few years now and much prefer trying different ales. Picked up a few bottles in Morrisons recently and maybe fire in Thursday night.......Riggwelter :88: from Yorkshire, a banana bread beer and Kinggoblin...dunno if anyone's tried these.
