Firstly, I have no doubt the league is finished. At the moment we look like we will be facing a challenge to be 2nd more than putting up a challenge for first.

Problem is, if we get rid of Lennon who realistically do people expect the board to get? They will get another cheap option, unproven, and unwanted by the EPL or any of Europes better leagues. We will end up with someone from the SPL or lower half of the championship.

Then when he arrives how much money do you think he will get? Ziltch. Our net spend over 3 years has been zero - there is nothing to assume that this will change. He will clear out all the freebies we currently have, and replace them with more free transfers. Any money spent will be done by selling Ledley, Izzy and Kayal and Hooper if anyone wants them.

The problem is the board. They have made it clear they are no willing to fund improving the team and this is why there will be no difference whether Lennon stays or goes.

It's a lot easier to change a manager than change an entire board.

Got to agree. Celtic champions come May? We've got more chance of landing a snot on the Queen.
We have too big a mountain to climb. We need to beat Rangers TWICE this season and hope they become as bad as us after Christmas. Sorry guys but the Fat lady has already sung and we're not keeping up with the beat. The way we are playing at the moment we'll be lucky to win the League Cup. Money needs to be spent in January and I mean SERIOUS money.
    Mon the Hoops.

Can't wait for the Motherwell game, the battle for second place will be so exciting. In Lennon I trust to get us second place.

Going by what he said in the interview, it actually looks like he's planning for the future. "We are looking to strengthen in January" does not sound like the words of a man who is ready to pack up and walk away. The thing is, how many more pitiful results will the ever loyal Celtic support have to put up with between now and January, bearing in mind we have away trips to places like Fir Park and Inverness and of course, another derby game?

Weve a game in hand ,still to play them * 3 times and they more than likely will be docked a few points(hopefully) when all this carryon with the tax man. They will also drop points im sure of it and come may we'll be champions. The board will also have to spend in jan and this will be the turning point of our season. HAIL-HAIL!

It's painful watching Lennon's Celtic team, in fact very painful.

There does come a point where optimism starts to look a little like insanity though....... Joking of course but come on, do you really expect us to beat Rangers thrice? They are coasting and gathering points. We are playing incredibly poorly, and show no signs of improvement.

People were blinded by his legend/one of us status to the obvious madness of appointing him. People got far to much into the mode of seeing Lennon as a symbol of timdom and I think far too many wanted him to stay despite the writing on the wall because they saw Lennon's failure as a victory for the bigots.

Has a manager ever had us 12 points behind in October before? This is putting Mogga into perspective.

We should never surrender the league. There is still time to pull the points back.

Tell you what then - you don't put words into my mouth that I didn't say, and I won't do it back.

    Sound OK? :50:
