    I wouldn't give it to anyone, you earn it you shouldn't just be given it.

    Also despite what a lot will say, it does clearly mean something other than being a squad number. There's history behind it and the board use that to its full advantage.

    Suppose it's a good bargaining tool as well....'here's Lennoxtown, here is Parkhead, here is your 30k a week contract and here is your number 7 jersey'.

    Does anyone know why WGS let Magic Zurawski rot in his second season? I mean he was an out and out striker in his first and could have went on to score a lot of goals. But for some reason WGS just went off him.

    Since Larsson the #7 shirt has been associated with an out and out striker, it doesn't need to be the case, look at Jinky.

    I think Juarez should get it, he would realise and live up to the honour greatly.

    I believe it should be held of for the next big name stiker to hit the club. Whether that be Bellamy or whoever, i wouldn't want the number to be worn by just anyone, growing up i have always associated the number 7 with greatness, as not only was i born on the 7th day of January, the best player of my time wore it proudly and i would be dispointed to see it on the back of anyone that hasn't yet proven themselves.
