Im in the same situation man but i want to get it out and see what yous think. I've not really spoke to anybody about it except my auntie who is a docter :52:

i dont know if its just me or im losing the plot, but im in abit of a paranoid state atm

this has only happend to me for the last 2 or 3 weeks, ive been getting really bad sleep paralysis and lucid dreams and whenever i close my eyes at night, or even during the day when i go for a quick sleep, disturbing looking faces and eyes appear in my head(this only happens when i close my eyes though)

when im in a lucid dream, i know im awake, it feels as if im in a straight jacket and i suddenly lift off floating about my room and then i drop to the ground and slide along the floor, it creeps the * out of me in the morning, im also seeing dark figures standing beside me when this happens. the pictures below probably fits best to what im experiencing!

Are you talking about those faces that are on your eyelids when you shut your eyes? I get them too sometimes, usually only when I'm really hungover or had a heavy weekend with drinking, or sometimes when I'm really really knackered.

Seems to be very common, going by the response to the thread. The shadows & feeling of unease are more interesting to me, to hear others having them too - as I knew about the paralysis. Very weird, it does make me wonder about what is going on. A lot of people I know, are having really weird dreams lately.

It's very very scary at first mate isn't it? And you're probably seeing them everytime you close your eyes now because you're ANTICIPATING it, that's what you need to stop doing. Just think of football or something when you're going to your bed or whatever else, just don't think that you're going to see those faces, it's perfectly normal i'm sure, i've heard loads of people that've had it. What did your auntie say about it btw?

I get sleep paralysis all the time so I'm used to it now and just try to focus on moving a finger to get me up but it was terrifying the first few times.

Ive had this only the one time i was staying at my aunties house and i was lying in bed nodding in and out of sleeps and i remember it was about 4 in the morning and it was just starting to get light outside.I felt something pressing down on top of me pinning me down and i couldnt move but i can remember seeing everything in the room the way it was i was trying to shout but i couldnt get the words out and felt as if it was grabbing my throat and i can remember hearing the words "you are not going anywhere" and it was a guys voice it seemed to have been going on for ages but i just dont know if it was real or not i even got up when i could move and dashed out of the room and i was looking for marks on me in the mirror but there was none was * weird....

Had this a good few times, horrible feeling, but if you really try you can wake yourself up. Also sleep on your front. Sounds daft but it seems to work, touch wood.

I used to get it a LOT. I mean a lot, like every two nights or so. Horrible but I haven't had it in ages.

Had one just under a week ago, images started to pop into my head during the morning such as ghosts, spirits, the virgin mary, and haunted stuff, then I just opened my eyes, to have some sort of Radio/Static voices behind me, it was 2 men, around 30 it sounded like and they were saying "We're dead *laughs* yeah we're the ones who are ghosts" This went on for an approximate 25 seconds but then I managed to pull myself out of it. I also have a phobia of ghosts, which made it super scary.

You're not alone mate, I always imagine creepy figures in front of me, mostly in the dark with my eyes OPEN! I've gotten so used to it though. If you think of the bad, you can think of the good, so if you do have creepy images in your head, then imagine Chuck Norris coming in and kicking all the creepy * arses out, I imagine it when I imagine creepy figures in front of me, I imagine Chuck Norris, kicking their *.
