    Reports in Turkey now claim that the deal on offer falls short of what the player requested. Vatan claim Fenerbahce offered €4.5million (£3.8million) per year with bonuses and a three-year-deal. The wide man has reportedly demanded €5million (£4.2million) annually and €2.5 million (£2.1million) as a signing bonus

    If this is true we can safely say there is no chance he's coming to us lol

    Cant see it ever happening now. Getting a player of that class if there was no up front payment tho then at they figures would still be a good investment could stay 3 years and still make profit on him if sold even with they wages and signing on fees.

    I'd just give him a larger signing bonus and then following that offer him £45-50k.

    He's a £20m player. So £2.1m is nothing.

    Not at those levels but it was always said in signing Dembele we offered him a good signing on fee because we only had to pay cross border compensation.

    See with Tete realistically if that’s the sort of pay packet he’s after we may have spoken to his agent and it probably then went no further. We aren’t playing him a combination of over £2m to sign and then those sort of wages.

    If we were to theoretically even offer him upto £8m signing on I wouldn't even grumble.

    He's easily a double figures player who we'd make our money back on. I'm really confident on that.

    Doubt it'll happen but anyway.
