My thoughts exactly. Looks very quick and clever with great feet.

    violent? is this another joke?
if so my reply is again...pointless

actually Scottish and Finnish people are very much alike
funny ... yesterday i actually started thinking this how much
lots of similarities, when you really start thinking about it

    here's few of them

in history Swedes(Sweden) is to us what Englishmen(England) is to you
(or was, i dunno hows the things with Scottish
    and English people these days)
    both proud,strong minded people
    both strong and brave people
    both like outdoors
both are proud of their nature

well at least how i see it

Stokes is more of a creator than an out and out goalscorer. I'm sure Sky Sports said that his free kick yesterday was only his 50th goal for the club and he's in his fourth season here now.

For what it's worth, if you put Pukki in the Championship, I think he would score the same amount of goals as Hooper did at Scunthorpe.

It's just we've had a couple of Finns sign up now talking about mills and looking forward to mills on and off the park when they come over for matches.

I'm just saying it's not how we do things over here, hooligan culture is all but dead in Scotland.

Did I just miss a joke or are the Finnish really known for being violent?

I thought they were known for mobile phones. And fish.

A few of them have been on now asking about mills (rucks, square go's, etc)

One even said he's looking forward to mills on and off the park when he visits.

Yeh unfortunately I think we have a little bit of a reputation from those old firm days in the 80s and early 90s still. But I agree those days are long gone. Been replaced with sporadic, isolated incidents here and there mostly, nothing casual or mills related

Yeah, it's a stupid joke going round on a Finnish football forum and probably translated by Google Translator to English making it more stupid still.

Violent we are not and our mobile phones aren't that good either anymore! These days we are mostly known for Teemu Pukki:D

Two things for this Southern Californian, but they're both named Teemu. :icon_mrgreen:

In Glasgow you don't need to arrange mills/fighting or trouble.......

it is freely available and very widespread... i guess Finland is just in lacking in zoomers, rockets, neds, fuds, bampots, wallopers, eejits, nyaffs, drunken arseholes, and the many other reprobates that fill our streets.

that list should keep the Finnish lads busy for a while... :56:
and that list is not in any way exhaustive....plenty other names for the tubes who like to fight for no reason other than they are with their mates.

    Thanks!

As I scrolled through this thread someone had already answered to your question about his strengths and weaknesses. In short he's fast so I expect him to take many opposing side defenders to the kebab-kiosk and/or cause bookings and freekicks. He also got pretty good shot, so I'm anxious to see some nice up-grannies.

    Finnish.
