Really happy to have Teemu at the club. I hope he will be a major success, I think he will. Tricky player and loves to play one-twos. Sounds good to me. I have watched him on Youtube and I really like the different types of goals , Teemu gets. Greetings from Ireland to all our new Finnish friends. Teemu and Stokes could be a good partnership, I think. Looking forward to the season and Group H - The Group of Champions, especially. :50::celt_2:.

I really thought the reason he wasn't being given number 7 is because we were signing a poacher.

I guess they just want to keep #7 free for now.

Sounds like what we need is for our sports science bods at Lennoxtown to genetically splice him with big Balde and we'd have the ultimate player! :icon_mrgreen: Hopefully that's what they mean when they say we are "developing" our own players through the academy. Of course if said clone ends up with the weaknesses of both he'd be honking, we'd need to give him to sevco.

Seriously though I'd be expecting him to get at least 15 goals this season, anything less in the SPL would be poor. Ideally 20+ would be a good return for a striker here.

I think the main reason for that number case is that Pukki's number have been 20 almost his whole career.

I'm not disappointed that he isn't very good in the air, Hooper only ever scored a few headers in his time here.

As long as he can finish well with his feet, especially in Europe, he will be worth the £3m.

He sounds similar to Hooper. Other than the guarding the ball and falling too easily parts. But by the sounds of it he'll provide a bit more of a surprise factor than Gary.

If he likes playing one-twos then thats a big positive, get him and stokes on the same page and we should be looking alot more dynamic upfront. He'll be made to bulk up no doubt just hope this doesnt have a negative on any other parts of his game, it shouldnt anyway.

Hopefully he starts our next game.

I can see our style of play changing with him and Derk both in the team, hopefully we set up in a 4231.

    Pukki
    Derk Commons Sammy/Matthews
    Ledley Brown
    Izzy Mulgrew Virgil Lustig
    Forster

    Exciting times ahead.

You can tell by watching some of his videos that he is more like Hooper than Stokes, the guy is definitely more of a natural finisher than Tony.

Don't hit me with all that crap about YouTube videos only showing his good sides either. They give you a very good idea of how good he is when it comes to finishing, and I must say, I'm excited about his arrival.

Exciting by him! Just wish we bought another striker to play along side him.

Balde can play alongside him, as can Stokes.
