    Probably went

    1997-2002 Dortmund, Chelsea, Barcelona
    2001-2007 AC Milan, Valencia
    2000-2006 Real Madrid
    2004-2013 Barcelona

They're the only teams ive liked a lot. I also used to like Lazio in the late 90s early 2000s when Mancini played for them.

My favourite ever foreign team was probably AC Milan as Shevchenko was my favourite striker and Nesta defender plus they also had Maldini, Pirlo, Rui Costa etc

Not that I supported these teams, wouldnt affect me if they won lost or drew, just liked them for their players/team. Lazio I liked because of their colours and name, dont know just always like them when I was a wee bhoy.

Used to like Deportivo around 2002-2004 aswell, remember going to see them at Lansdowne road when Shelbourne got to the 3rd round of the Champions League qualifiers and it was 0-0.

Hard to imagine an Irish team were one game away from the champions league group stages.

They were discussing McCoists large goal tally. Shearer says something along the lines of "anyone can get that amount of goals up in that league the goalkeepers are rotten, even jamie redknapp could be a player up there".

    None really....

On the flip side I've always liked to see Spurs and Valencia do well. Can't really explain why.

I remember seeing Valencia in an all white kit in the early 80's and they just caught my eye. Spurs probably because of Ardilles and Villa around the same time.

Valencia. Used to like them. Don't follow them much anymore.

Chelsea sort of. Used to like them almost as much as Celtic when I was younger. Originally liked Hassilebank and then really liked Lampard. Over the years thats faded and still is. There my favourite English team and I doubt that will ever change but I don't have nearly as much interest in them as I did. Also lessened recently in learning of their fans singing 'Hello Hello'. I always thought that Blues Brothers pish was just the desperate huns but it appears some of Chelsea fans follow it aswell.

Used to really like Arsenal in the invincibles era with the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Vieria. Nowadays...I kinda hate them.

Also Juve...but in Italy I quite like Fiorentina and Roma these days. Our games against them last season just proved what * they are.

Bayern, as ridiculous as that sounds (or I didn't dislike them at least).

Barcelona. I lapped up all their marketing about being this peoples team when I was wee and I loved their kits, I remember thinking them vs Real Madrid was proper good guy vs baddy stuff. I even went to a game years ago and I was so excited to see Ronaldinho play, although his limelight was well and truly stolen by some kid coming through called Lionel something.

I grew out of that and now see them for that they are, a corporate machine no different to Real Madrid, you'd be as well calling yourself a Pepsi supporter. This "mes que un club" stuff gets under my skin, it's such self congratulatory * when you consider Clyde are more than a club to their fans. I was at their ground years later on a lads holiday and seeing how they sell other big clubs merchandise in their club shop nailed home how daft I was to "support" them as a kid.

I'm ashamed to say Manyoo aswell, but now I'm a bit of an ABU. Bunch of gloryhunting wanks who couldn't find their local teams grounds with a sat-nav. It's a bit humiliating for me that I liked them as a kid so how fully grown adults who aren't even Mancs can leave the house in their kits is a mystery to me.

Always liked inter when growing up, probably started when my Dad used to play 5 a side in a Inter kit :56:

Then watching football Italia on channel 4 I would always like to see inter do well.
