Sammy aint my cup of tea either but surely he has merited a start after good performances against Kilmarnock , Hamburg and Falkirk (2nd half) Mcgeady has been rotten this month and not one person picks up on it where as Sammy has one poor game we are on his back instantly imo he should keep his place in the team.

My team for sunday would be

    Boruc
    Hinkel
    Fox/Naylor
    Caldwell
    Loovens
    Nguemo
    Crosas
    Samaras
    McGeady
    Fortune
    Skippy

McGeady hasn't been on form for over a month now, hence the reason he was dropped for Rep of Ireland!

McGeady seems to have the sun shining out of his * amongst alot of celtic supporters mate.

Id go along with a team like that for Sunday, although Boruc isnt fit.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Boruc, Maloney, Brown all still injured and not training yet. Loovens highly doubtful.

    Zaluska
Hinkel, Caldwell, Zhi (not by choice...), Fox
McGinn, Crosas, N'Guemo, McGeady (switch him to the left)
    Fortune, McDonald

At least McManus is suspended, but Loovens might not make it - hopefully he does, Maloney and Brown are still injured too.

I'm expecting Robson to be played, because he adds strength and nothing else whatsoever - but strength is admired by SPL managers, shame cos Crosas will be dropped to accomodate Robson (which is a mistake!).

I think we'll win this - DUFC is probably the best team we could've played, as there is absolutely no * way we will underestimate them.

I hope to * that Fortune plays well & scores.

    3-1...feeling very optimistic!:celt_2:

That's the team I'm going to go with, although it will be interesting to see who plays in Zhi's slot. I'd actually expect Loovens to play through the pain.

Samaras has been good of late, probably our best striker but you get the impression that he can't work with either Fortune or McDonald while the latter 2 have a good understanding.

With that in mind would like to see Samaras come on in the second half, along with McCourt leaving 1 spare sub to cover the CB if things go * up.

Since it looks as if Loovens might not make it & McManus is suspended, Al change my team to this, I hope Loovens is fit tho..

    Zaluska

    Hinkel Caldwell Zheng Zhi Fox

    McGeady N'Guemo Crosas Robson

    Fortune McDonald

Subs: Cervi (GK), Thompson, Caddis, Naylor, Samaras, McGinn & McCourt

Not the strongest bench, but spose we don't really have much choices, hence why we need to buy in january, but ye, we need a strong midfield against Dundee United, esp. at Tannadice really good side, & usually raise there game for the Old Firm, so tis not gonna be a walk in the park, so we don't need any light weights in the middle, I know Crosas is kinda light weight, but with N'Guemo & Robson beside him, he should be ok, we need his passing abilty in there...

This is the team I would like to see.

I leave Crosas out as he will more than likely go missing since we are playing away from home and at Tannadice so it's gonna be extra tough. And need I mention any reasons for my omission of Samaras ? (or Samantha as I like to call him) I would be glad to see the back of him, he is not good enough.
