oh well, but I cant see any official statement quoted about them withdrawing just really the article saying so. but if its done, its done.

 

Totally gutted here. Really thought either Tamas or Basa would be signing this week. Does any1 know of any other centre back, apart from Simic, that we've been linked to?

Oh, of that there is no doubt - bookies are rarely wrong, and they have us down as favourites. Squad is FAR stronger than Rangers as well.. just want us to make that further step forward to progress on the Euro stage and * on the Hun even more.

 

Strachan actually has a well-balanced first XI that has played together the last games in the SPL and got us the title. I think we're okay, and when all players who are injured recover, we'll be okay.

 

Domestically, i think we are fine (touch wood) - i reckon the Huns will drop a lot of points against The Dundee U's, Aberdeens, Hearts and Falkirks of this world, esp in comparison with last year.

HOWEVER - for Europe i do have concerns.. obviously a lot of it depends on the draw itself, but we would have to do awfully well to get past the group stages as things stand...

So Tamas is dead in the water then? Thats unfortunate, especially after the length of this saga, this thread can vouch for that. Will be interesting to see what happens now and how long it will take to get any new players in

 

I know we need some people, preferably with CL experience...If I could wish for signings now, those who could do it in CL, I'd say:Babić, Madlung and Šimić. Defense settled, while Babić could play DM and LM as well.

 

AND how long the * thread goes on for !
