MARKO BASA re-appeared on Celtic's radar today as Gabriel Tamas found himself further way than ever from Parkhead after jetting back to Romania to thrash out his future with his agent.
Auxerre central defender Tamas wants to know if he is going to get a £3.5m move to Gordon Strachan's side, or if he will have to look elsewhere to find his escape route from the French club.
Celtic sources today refused to confirm reports the Tamas deal was dead. But Le Mans defender Marko Basa is again waiting in the wings, ready to revive the talks with the SPL champions which failed to broker an agreement last week.
