Diffrence here is Balde had his chance to prove himself, and he did... only to be dropped onti the bench for the likes of caldwell to take his place, in know who i would prefer to see playing at CB.

 

Mate I honestly do. I would go as far as saying its probably settled with him but just need to Iron out a couple of things with Auxerre about the fee and clauses.

Although some people may not like it I also think we will sign Paul Robinson on the same day. I like the guy and is a total battler

I dont support an Auxerre player, Its the prospect of signings (no matter who they are) that can improve our squad that gives you somthing to look forward to for the new season.

If you think back to around January when Balde came on the reception he got was overwhelming, so the majority of Celtic supporters who go to the games would totally disagree with you, and as for virgo he was pish but pressely far better than caldwell.

I think your missing the point here mate, I dont dislike Bobo, and if you look at all the old threads about him ive always said he gave 100% for us and was a good servant, also never have I slagged him off about his wages because he took what was offered to him and thats not his fault.
My point is that under WGS hes not going to be a first choice, so that means we have a 32 year old player sitting in the bench/stand earning 28g's(which again isnt his fault) I think its time we try and improve the squad which is WGS's call and he wants Bobos's wages freed up.
If it comes down to WGS or Bobo then I go with the wee man

 

We can't improve the squad. That's the problem. The Romanian won't come. Balde is our best shot as an extra CB.
