I dont know about exact days but I reckon if BOBO and Sunderland come to an agreement and he goes to them we will def get a CB in and I would imagine it to be Tamas

 

Yeh he is greedy. While Bobo sits at CP and earns 30,000 odd per week.

I would say offer Balde a new contract with a reduced wage and their would be no need for new defenders to be brought in?

 

It's not the problem with 30K, it's with him not playing. Bobo could be a valuable option in defense for us.

 

I would rather pay the 30k a week than spend over 3mill and wages on someone that isn't of the same quality as balde.

Not the same quality? He looked pretty good against France in Euro 08. It's not as if Bobo hasn't got a history of massive fuckups in the big games either. If he does sign for us it will be on wages close to half of what Bobo's getting plus he is 8 years younger.

 

yes he has had his * ups but then again so has caldwell for scotland and france? he may not be the best passer etc but he clears his lines? And by the looks of things if tamas was to come he would be earning around 20k anyways.... and i don't think strachan would make caldwell or mcmanus give up there place for tamas.

I dont know what is wrong with you lot. Bobo is an absolute must for players out the door. Along with Gravesen and Riordan.

As soon as 1 of them goes Tamas will sign. A very good young defender.

Tamas is fast, good in the air and very good with ball on the deck.

Now you can only say that Balde was good in the air. From what I have seen of him in friendlies it does not even look like we can count on him for that.

 

Well from what i've seen from the friendlies you couldn't rely on any of the team to score goals or prevent goals. Balde is solid at the back and he may not have had the best few friendlies but he hadn't played over 3 first team games in 18 months? As for Tamas, 3.5mill is alot to spend on a player who most people wouldn't have heard of until the Euros.

Gravesen, Riordan and Bobo all need to leave to free up much needed funds for wages, between the 3 of them they will be costing us 90k+ a week just to play for the * reserves.

I used to love big bobo, he was brilliant in the air and strong in the challenge but he is a liability with the ball at his feet

I was excited when Gravesen signed but what a * let down he has been, he just runs around like a * headless chicken

Riordan has alot of talent but is a wee ned who has an attitude problem, he has had too many fall out with WGS and in the real world when you fall out with your boss your days are numbered
IMO to play for a club like Celtic you have to give 100% all the time and Riordan is a lazy wee * where as Killen always gives his all

I really hope we sign Tamas after the Jubilee tournament, but i think it would of been better for him (if he signs) to get a pre-season under his belt to help gel with the team

I dont think we need to worry about signings too much as WGS is usually late in signing people, there will be new faces before the start of the new season
