According to BBC Sport, we haven't even agreed a fee with Auxerre for Tamas yet.

Auxerre defender Gabriel Tamas has rated his chances of completing his switch to Celtic as 'greater than 50-50'.
Tamas was granted permission to hold talks with the SPL giants after a reported fee in the region of £3.5million was agreed between the two clubs.
Personal terms have yet to be settled, but Tamas is hopeful of making an announcement on his future in the next 24 hours.

if these talks are takeing place in france how will that work with the medical? finalise everything over there then bring him here send him to rosshall then complete the deal? if thats the case surely it wont happen until next week

because they will need to get him over here and have his medical and stuff can you see them doing the medical in france?

 

he could have his medical over there. he could of already been at CP earlier on in the week. or he could be commentating that he will hopefully sign tomorrow, subject to a medical. its just all speculation still.

 

No but I mean, if everything goes to plan and the deals agreed and we just need a medical then all he'd have to do is get a plane in the morning, have it in the afternoon and get announced in the evening.

Saying that I really don't know how Celtic go about doing stuff like this so your guess is as good as mine.

it won't jeopardise the deal, its just lawwell trying to find the cheapest he can get him for, and tamas's agents trying to get as much as they can for him, either way they will find a half way point and he will be in hoops before tuesday, that much is "hopefully" pretty much for sure!

 

i think we might be in for a we surprise 3.5 million is the price i think celtic might cut them down celtic and peter lawwell are good at that might be hagaling a wee bargain for us and thats what the hold up is
