He's been back over a couple month's now and looks shocking..

His last 2 performances have been alarming..

Never been the quickest but he looks so slow on and off the ball now..

    Worrying..

He's a luxury player. A luxury we can ill afford now probably. Unpalayble on his day but too often injured or returning from injury. Looked so slow since he has come back from injury this time. If there was a decent offer I'd accept it, providing there were a replacement

    Aye he's a top player..

His injuries are a major concern though and how long he takes to get up to speed. Literally month's at a time..

Then he flies across the world and that's a nightmare for us..

He has to realise , he has done everything possible with Australia been to a world cup , won that tournament he got injured in . Concentrate on his main career and if he isn't willing .. punt . a player continually injured is no use to anyone .

Will always love him for the Invincible clinching goal

But I’ve grown more frustrated with him as a player ever since.

That was painful watching him jogging about yesterday and doing heehaw

I would wait. He is the type of player that changes games & was doing regularly until this season after playing through injury for us, then * Australia did him more harm.
He is the type of player on form that we want to see in our team
Hopefully he will retire or choose his international games more selectively.

He just looks so unfit since coming back.

He's my fav player but he has looked way off since coming back.

We did our best when it was Rogic, Christie and Mcgregor but to be honest the only midfielder who has been worth his salt since the turn of the year has been Brown, Rogic and Mcgregor have been awful since then.

He has been pretty anonymous for us this season .
The guy needs a couple of months off to re charge his batteries and a kick up the * to get him motivated.

    Good point lads..

It's a privilege to play for your country but shouldn't be to the detriment of your club...and it is. We pay his wages and we're getting a nowhere near fit Rogic, whilst his national manager plays him through knee injections..

That's him been at a world cup and Asian cup either side of our first 6 month's of the season..

Time to tell them you're out of a few game's Tam..

    50/50 on the matter.

Exciting player on his day, fitness levels have always been a concern.

15million would be a shrewd bit of business tbf

mibby no the right thread , but any players on international duty this summer should be told " you've got a sore back "
60 odd games in a season so far is * ridiculous !! get on holiday . oh and lustig and hayes a word thanks .
final warnings letters to Bain , Rogic , Brown go and do your coaching badges .

The whole season has been a write-off for him. Becoming more and more of a luxury player.

Someone needs to have a word in his ear regarding his international career. He should be putting it on the back burner for at least a season and focus solely on getting an uninterrupted period of club football under his belt. He's a shadow of the player he was 12months ago.

See tbh, I love him but I do think he is a luxury player.

There's a reason why his best season for us was probably the Invincible one - we had Armstrong and McGregor to fill in either centrally or in the number 10 role at various points of the season. We weren't absolutely reliant on Rogic, so he didn't have to be a certain stater - given his injury record and fitness issues.

Our midfield options were so fluid and yet so consistent in quality.

You could have any of these:

    Brown Armstrong

    RW - McGregor - LW

    Brown McGregor

    RW - Armstrong - LW

    Brown McGregor

    RW - Rogic - LW

    Brown Armstrong

    RW - Rogic - LW

We do not have to sell Rogic but we do need more players to support him, and the team more generally so we can get back to being a side with consistently good options.

He’s either still carrying an injury or just nowhere near match fit and either case he shouldn’t of started. Thought it was a poor decision to not even have Henderson on the bench.

He’s a player that thrives in a game we are dominating, but in an end to end battle he doesn’t have the energy.

I’m * absolutely boiling at Rodgers treatment of him. Giving him jags to play, playing him through injury all season. Completely shafted him.

Honestly think he’s a 30 million pound player when on form. Problem is he’s one of the slowest attacking players I’ve ever seen and has atrocious fitness, not helped by flying 200 thousand miles a year to play camel herders in barely professional matches.

He ripped apart Man City with guile and passing when we drew 3-3 under Rodgers, and is a classic big game player, but we should sell for anything above 5 million I think now.

Goodbye inconsistent two footed * *.

He is definitely too slow for some games but I think the disconnect in the last 10-15 games is more that the other players around him don't have the legs either. If the players were fresh they'd do enough running around him that he wouldn't need to do much.

Because the players have been half dead most of the season and nobody is really putting in the work-rate then we've needed more from him but he just doesn't have the pace to close guys down so he's never going to be any use at doing it.

Usually McGregor and Forrest would be hounding anything that moved but they took their foot off the gas a long time ago, Brown is old now and although can still put in the running he won't if he's playing every single game which he has been. Tierney used to be a machine, winning balls back for fun and breaking at pace but he kicked off the season * and has only gone more into his shell, we essentially played an entire season with two full-backs who didn't put in much of a shift going forward.

We'll see more and better of Rogic with fresh players around him.
