Good first half but his fitness does worry me at this level.

I love him though, class player.

Spot on in my opinion. Rogic was incredible first half, the constant twists on the ball he made got him passed many a man city player until it got obvious second half when he was starting to tire. Really needs to get his condition up as he is immense for us when he plays like he did again today. Armstrong did little to nothing after replacing him.

We had little threat when he went off, take of that what you will but he is still the best threat we have, even if we only get 60 mins out of him i will take that just to watch his talent, he is the closest ive seen to Lubo in years, complement

Still not sure of him but he was a class act in that first half and probably the best on the park.

Looks like he's getting physically better. Certainly a big improvement in his acceleration and his ability to hold players off.

Still a long way to go in terms of stamina though.

This is the main tournament in football, this Bhoy is the real deal he is a class act, yes he needs to work on his stamina, but that will come :50:

The fitness and stamina is a weird one.

I hope he can improve it but part of me is beginning to wonder if he is just one of those players who doesn't have the ability to last the 90 mins consistently.

Does he need to be the type of player that lasts 90mins though, lets just let the bhoy play his football, because he is a joy to watch be it 70 or 90 mins :50:

Perhaps not mate but I'd certainly like him to last the 90 as he is class. That is all I'm thinking.

I'm sure he doesn't want to have to come off at 60mins for the rest of his career either!

When he's not gassed out he's easily in our top 3 best players in my opinion.

He was the best player on the park for first 45,pity he's no stamina.

Definitely agree regarding the injuries harming his stamina. whilst the a-league is no where near what he is playing now, prior to the injuries he was consistently playing games in the Australian summer at times with high humidity (he still does when he travels to play international throughout Asia) and he was fine for 90 under these conditions

BR had him working hard off the ball, so with his fitness troubles it's no wonder 60min was his limit. That being said, for Australia he has played the odd 90min game in tough conditions (middle-east heat) and lasted, however the situation is a bit different as he has been in camp in prep just focused on the one match.

A lot is being asked of him lately, as he is often like a 2nd striker but is also expected to cover a lot of central midfield in the press. There must also be a fair amount of movement off the ball as he does a good job getting himself into good positions, it would be interesting to see GPS data.

I agree with others that it's not really his strength and perhaps 90min playing him like this is unrealistic.

Tom Rogic- I l;ove the way plyers think they have nicked the ball off him, then he saunters out the other side of 2 or 3 challenges still with the ball!!<img src="http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/images/smilies/50.gif" class="inlineimg" smilieid="75" border="0">

Truly believe should he have had the fitness levels to go through the 90 minutes, we could have won.

He help the flow of our game immensely, was strong and skilful on the ball and when he had to come off you can tell we lost a bit of an edge in midfield when came to retaining the ball
