I seriously doubt that, but if we splashed the cash I'd certainly like to see him in the Hoops. -

feyenord and lower placed epl teams are being linked so i thought we were round about in the same bracket budget wise. i think he would be a great signing
-
I don't think he'll take a pay cut from what Chelsea are giving him, would be a good signing though, as much as I hate to say that.
-
errr Im an idiot
Went and posted a whole thing about why Steve Sidwell is out of our budget lol.
Anyway this guy would be a great signing although I think his wages could be a stumbling block. -

Not so sure if we couldnt afford him, he got his big move but he has not really done the business at chelsea. If he wants first team football he will have to take a pay cut and i think that as long as your barcelona's milans etc are not in for him we may well have a decent chance.
-
A think if could get him be a good addition to team especially if gs would realise odeas potential and play him at centre back aswell , bit harsh on big mick (although had ropey season) and garry(who despite early major blunders is on run of form) but i believe as a football playing centre half odea is best of lot of them and is a geniune threat in opposion box also good passer of the ball.
But on first topic i believe ben haim, like steve sidwell and kevin doyle who all rate quite highly will all remain in premiership, a here MON is in 4 doyle. -
-
-
we could loan Ben Haim.. and just because doyle is irish doesnt mean hes a celtic fan lol
-
but he would be a crackin signin and he'll know that because he's irish he'll be favoured more at celtic park so it is a pulling factor -
i wouldnt say steve sidwell is out of our budget, they would sell him if we offered 8 million which we obviously have in the bank. COME ON LAWWELL SPLASH SOME CASH
-
Wages, Wages would be more of a problem thn transfer funds im thinkin... ben haim wouldnt take a cut....
Hunt & Doyle would do well at parkhead...
Keano wants hunt at sunderland -
Ye I think we need to throw the biscuit tin to * this season and pull in some big names if for nothing else, to have succsess in europe in tribute to Tommy Burns, Ben Haim has to think, if we offered, what is the best move for him, join a club on a little less cash and play every week and get decorated with medals and trophies for his CV or go for another prem team and sit on the bench or go to a prem team that is going nowhere....

Well Kevin Doyle has played like 35 games and scored 6 goals this season
Where as Carlton Cole was rubbished on another topic when hes made a considerably less appearances and has 4 goals
I Dont think Doyle is the answer to our prayers to be honest with you, and who cares if he is Irish or not? whats that got to do with Celtic football club what nationality they are from? -

a would definatley sidwell at celtic but iu dont think * cost as much as 8million a thought chelsea had told him and other fringe layers they were surplus to requirements just leaving wages as a stumbling box but chelsea would probz accept 3 mil they got him 4 nothing and dont exactly need the money. ben haim is a similar story but i think could get him 4 even cheaper than 3 million. Also if doyle wasnt to come what about his team mate kitson. A dont think wed get shorey he ll go to EPL for silly money wages.
I havent seen much of carlton cole but anytime i have looks clumsey and hopeless to be honest where as doyle looks more of a football player that would fit into the team -
Sidwell isn't worth £8m, your right. i was just stating that we won't be spending £8m on a single player any time soon.
i don't think Doyle or Kitson are the players to take us to the next level. would rather see us enquiring about Pavlyuchenko or a striker like him. we will need to spend a fair amount of money on a striker in the summer tbh.
would love to see Shorey next season, but if we aren't moving soon for him, he'll move to a mid-table EPL team.
Ben Haim is, i hate to say it, a Cuellar mould. could do a good job at centre back for us imo. its just his wages could be a stumbling block.
Carlton Cole...i'm not even going to start.
