As a supporter of lets say an older age than you boys, I think it's a disgrace these tossers are even allowed to interfere with your support of our team. Of course there has to be some rules as to how we behave in the ground but ffs making too much noise certainly shouldn't be one of them. When I was your age and in the jungle the stewards were * themselves to say anything and they were all hoops fans then. I'm one of the old codgers I here you lads complaining about off n on and I sit up in 404. Keep it up boys cause they'll eventually realise that without boys like you then we're *. Hail Hail

The stewards are a * disgrace, they think cause they wear high viz jackets they have all the authority in the world. I sit in 137 and was watching it all and at one point it could have easily spilled over into huge crowd trouble all because they were stopping any kind of noise and atmosphere. It makes you wonder why are celtic telling them to do this. They must want us all to be like the prawn sandwich club that go everyweek and sit in suits and dont utter a word during the game. Id rather not go at all than be like that.

For the guys in the comrades,i support what your doing completely.dont let them stop you.

    Singing is not a crime.

So were they getting hassle for singing IRA songs, or just for singing Celtic songs?

If it's IRA songs then what did they expect, but if it's just Celtic songs then it's a disgrace, and anyone who saw the incident should be in contact with the club about it. I sit in 116 and heard the booing and commotion but obviously could not see what was going on.

Is The Comrades a new group? I've never heard of them.

disgraceful treatment, why do Celtic condone this? Do they not realize that no matter how well the teams doing, * stewarding will drive the punters away? might be at the killie game next week, good luck with the protest guys! :50:

i will say if its IRA stuff they are singing then they have no one to blame but themselves but it sounds like folk are getting picked on for singing Celtic songs which is a disgrace! John Reid and Peter Lawell patronise us all the time about the "Celtic Family" yet wont let them sing Celtic songs? :38: poor poor show

The Comrades are always careful in song choice. It is every week the stewards are up there telling them to sit down, shut up or * off basically. They are bang out. I see it every week coz they are in the my stand and the very 1st week they formed the stewards were right on it. Was gutted. They really picked the whole stand up and when they got told to shut it the boos were ringing.

    So Comrades, keep singing!!!!!!

there were a few rebels, but not as far as roll of honour, which was sung long before any stewards had been around us. but before the stewards came up, it was regular celtic songs and after the stewards came up it was just boos basically.

I was sitting near enough to them and i didnt hear them singing any IRA songs and in that vid when the * steward goes up to kick them out they are singing we love you so i do think they were given hassle for absolutely no reason.

Celtic stewarding is fast becoming a joke, I don't have enough funds to both buy a season ticket & attend every away game. I'm seriously considering giving up my season ticket and using the funds to go to all the away games, at least we're allowed to enjoy ourselves there.

Edit: Comrades I sit very near you and it would be a shame if you were to relocate seat, or stop singing all together. Keep singing, you are the only people that keep the area around you going.

Do you not need the season ticket to go to most away games?

Yes, I have a several mates which are season ticket holders, one of them can't make away games and can get me away game tickets.

Best course of action is to take pics of these incompetent stewards and post them all over facebook and celtic forums and make sure the * are shamed.

I used to have season tickets to the New York Giants in the NFL and there was always a fat steward with a moustache and yellow hacket who would harrass everyone in my section, so one game everyone got a yellow jacket and a fake moustache and at halftime started chanting the stewards name and the chant spread to half the stadium, the wee * tried to through the lot of us out but the police wouldnt let him :icon_mrgreen:

I haven't been to a Celtic game since I was refused to enter the stadium because I had a Capri Sun.
