    i was about to make this thread, i sit in section 122 5 rows up, and i love the comrades. And the way they are treated is a joke.
    Someone started shouting to the guy with specks and he ran away to the police and they told him to basicly Grow a pair *

    also i didnt like they way we were treated on entering the stadium
    we were frisked searched by the stweards
    i mean what the *, my 4 year old brother with learning diffaculties even got searched.
    This must be against the Clubs code of conduct, Im at this moment writing letters to celtic and also the football league

    the group were walking down the road and a guy stopped us and told us that the steward in question has been reported to like the chief steward or whatever

    Next game should be good, there will probably be about 12 stewards about the corner. No doubt "blocking fire escapes". Hahaha:icon_mrgreen:

    I sit in 123 and watched all the nonsense that went down and can only really repeat what everyone else is saying, that "supervisor" with the glasses is a jobsworth * and he made that situation ten times worse. But at the same time, most of the stewards these days are students, immigrants and refugees who just need the cash - they're just doing what they're told so don't have a go at the "uneducated stewards" mate. It's the hierarchy and the fact they're doing exactly what Celtic wants them to do with regards to singing groups. They tried it with the Green Brigade but seem to have backed off a little bit, they'll keep it up with the lads in 122 because you're younger and they think they can bully you into doing what they want.

    I guess it was just a matter of time before a situation like this kicked off in 122. Singing group + standing up + IRA songs and add ons + jumped up supervisor and ACAB = confrontation.

    Hope it doesn't get worse for you lads.

    I understand where your coming from, and I know the singing of IRA songs dont help but there needs to be some sort of change. Though groups like this need to be allowed to create an atmosphere.

    I agree, and I do support their right to support the team the way that they want, but I just think with such a small group what's the point of the IRA songs and IRA add ons to Celtic songs when you know for certain it'll get you unwanted attention from guys like that supervisor who ran away greetin' and the ACAB.

    I've been to games all over Europe and sat in singing sections and Ultra sections so I know how important they are to atmosphere but I'm a bit worried for the future in that corner if there's already guys from that group not renewing season tickets...

    Surely belting out actual Celtic songs, getting more and more people onside and standing with you is a better way forward to begin with? Then when you've got the numbers that can repel the stewards and ACAB better you can sing the stuff they dislike? I dunno, can't tell you how to run your group but aye, it was just a matter of time before this crap started with the stewards and you lads.

    As I say though, totally support you guys being there and think today was totally out of order. Sure you'll be there for some time to come.

    2 lhads in the group have & an ex member has aswell, i'd hope everyone who seen it will fire an e-mail to mr brannan(head of security) (you can get his e-mail on the jobs section of the celtic website), the guy who instructs the stewards to do this and that

    Stewards at CP are out to kill any atmosphere any group that makes a noise gets attention from them GB,Comrades,JB,RB,Shamrock Bhoys etc
