This made me sad watching him score and the delight on his face,I also agree that he was sorely missed as well yesterday!

It was a point I just read in another thread just now about players playing in half empty soulless/songless Celtic park and I immediately thought about watching Joe play in a small ground that was full and full of atmosphere and domestically it's probably a better place to play for that reason in itself..
That is more sad than anything else!

Said in his interview that he was pleased to finally be a Premier League footballer. How sad.

It's sad that players no longer care about playing for their club, as long as they're playing in that league.

I think it might just be British players that have that mentality though and really * foreign mercenaries.

Just saw the highlights there on Youtube, the crowd wasn't that good, nor was the atmosphere to be honest.

He will literally be enjoying the novelty of playing in the EPL.

:smiley-laughing002: I want him to do well though.

Just not at a pissy little club.

The bitterness from some people is hilarious. Well done Super Joe and Palace. Things are looking up for them.

I don't believe he thought that way to be honest. He could have went to Roma rather than us beforehand?

He is from Wales, a diluted little country, absorbed by England and will have no doubt grown up watching that league thinking it was the bees knees. Thats probably why he wanted to be there. Although part of me thinks he was dying to leave for a good while now.

    I'm not bitter.

Fine? You know what it is? Cantona drop-kicked that guy on my birthday years ago (true story). Completely ruined my day.

Since then, I blame everything on Palace when small * goes wrong.

What you reckon the is a sell on clause?

Joe shows himself to be "epl" class, Palace get relegated then a team hopefully come in with a 7 figure bid for him??

Its not bitterness, its an observation. We (most of us) want him to do well, but it doesn't mean we have to be complimentary to Crystal Palace fucksake. :smiley-laughing002:

I believe he is better than them, do you not?

I don't believe any player is 'better' than a team. It's a * attitude to have.

Maybe he could have gone to a bigger team, but everybody on here would still be moaning like *.

What do you think football teams do? Just sign average players and hope for the best? They went for a player that would make them better and got him. They put a deal on the table and he took it.

He is playing in one of the best leagues in the world, earning a lot more money and living in London.

All this * about ''Their fans are not better than ours'' ''their stadium is pish''... Who gives a *! Wanting Palace to get relegated just because Joe moved there is pathetic and immature.
