Not surprised to see their fans slander us on a forum. You always get ignorant idiots hiding behind a keyboard.

Below the belt Sir! ...... I'm joking, I can take it, I've heard a lot worse!

Unbeaten against them since 2011, (Including 6-in-a-row which no team has ever managed) Also, we're the last team to win a Major Trophy (1973 FA Cup, I know, it's not something I should boast about but * it, there's was in the 60's!!!)

They punch Horses....That alone, means we win the morale battle, nothing can eclipse the Beautiful moment a Newcastle fan, with a family at home, has just witnessed his team lose to Sunderland (Again) So, he throws a right Hook at a Police Horse, connects, then retreats to a defensive stance, half expecting a retaliation...Luckily the Police Horse had the composure to just take it like a Pro, and the 'Fan' was charged with all sorts!

Then, to cap it all off, says he done it in self defence.

Newcastle, the gift that keeps on giving.

They even tried to mock us for going down, whilst they come up....But, they spelt 'Relegation' wrong!

In regards to the James Mclean situation, I, was one of the few who actually defended him for the Poppy situation, I had the view of - It's his decision, as long as he does the Bussiness on the Pitch, I'm not too fussed about his Political stance etc. I think, it was blown out of Proportion, but make no mistake about it, he wasn't just hated for that incident, the lad was a bit of a *.

He was known for causing rifts in Training, he would actively wind up our English players (Cattermole for example) about Englands failure in Football, which is not what you need when you need all your players fighting for the cause. Training ground Banter is fine, but he took it too far according to inside information. Then, when we played West Brom and they beat us, he come running over to the Away fans to wind them up and had to be pulled away by our players.

Flashpoint: McClean's actions at the final whistle annoyed Sunderland players
James McClean is facing an FA investigation and possible fine after
nearly provoking a mass brawl following West Brom’s win over Sunderland.

John O'Shea also playes for R.O.I and is a fantastic servant for the Club (And Country) and is our club captain and very respected, so it's nothing to do with his Country, it's because he was immature, disruptive and very inconsistent on the pitch. Even when he did score, he'd do the 'Cup his ears' things in front of , always as if to shut up the fans, he'd sulk when he didn't get the ball, all-in-all he was just a pain in the *, that's why the Fans turned on him. It's a shame because, he has talent, and is still fairly young. More than likely, he was just a typical cheeky young man with a chip on his shoulders, I wish him all the best and if he is to pull on the Celtic Jersey, I'd support him 100% (Although I don't think he's anywhere near good enough to break into our squad).

But, some of the comments on the Sunderland Forum are very disrespecful towards Celtic, which is embarrasing for me, I hope the Friendly doesn't go-ahead as it's just pointless like some are saying.

There's alot of Celtic Bars in Sunderland, and there's alot of 'Celtic/Sunderland' Irish supports from the Roy Keane/Quinny days, I'm not sure where this bitterness has come form. Most Sunderland fans, don't watch the SPL week in week out, nor Celtic's Champions League campaign, so the 'Scottish Football is *' narrow minded view is something I hear almost every day, it's getting a bit boring, Celtic can only beat what's in front of them, and what these Celtic players have done this season (Unless there's a terrible blip in the last 2 matches) is absolutely crazy, and will rightfully be remembered for all of eternity!

    :)

Sorry once more for some of the comments.

There's no need to apologise on anyone's behalf. It's football. You can find derogatory comments about Celtic daily, if you look around online. The opinions of a number of Sunderland fans, regarding Celtic, is irrelevant to me.

They're looking at our forum we're looking at theirs, so there's always going to be a bit of banter as well as the odd idiotic comment..

Was just a tongue in cheek comment mate, to annoy the lurkers from the Sunderland forum :86: although I would expect a few development squad lads to play if it goes ahead, especially as it's between qualifiers.

My footie team play a Mackem team every year, take turn about going down there and them coming up.

Bunch of nutters, but really sound lads, great banter. At the pub after the game, Hylton Rd area, one of our lads was getting a bit of grief (coincided with an England game at Euro 2016, he may have brought it on himself :56:) and they stepped in and stuck up for him.

Moral of the story, some are good guys, some are wanks.

Why do you think? They're just trying to sooth their egos. Literally nothing to shout about. They've just been relegated.

I wish we would play St Pauli more often and not play diddy teams like sunderland as that's like playing a pub team which is probably an insult to pub teams.Honestly the arrogance from these * defies belief as my last * has more of a presence than that club and fans.:93:
