    well in mcgee's favour,hes did more then mowbray as a manager he has more club management experience than billic
    he played and actually won stuff with celtic ,owen coyle hasent and has not won anything of note

    hes played in Europe,,he seem just as good a shout as anyone else

    I think if it's between McGhee and Mowbray I would choose McGhee as he looks the tougher character of the two. I like Tony Mowbray but he looks too nice to get involved in all the crap that comes with managing an OF side..........sorry but I just can't imagine him getting tough with anyone.

    McGhee as manager, what a * low, how uninspiring, another prooven failure who aint done nothing, and i saaw his team in europe this year, humped at home by an average french team, this man MUST not be allowed to manage the hoops!

    If the board parade McGhee as our new manager then you have to wonder if they are competent custodians of our club. They are aware of the flak Strachan took from a section of the fans despite his success, surely they are not going to install his buddy as his successor, particularly since he was recommended to them by Strachan? What a weight around the guys neck before he's even in the door. I pray to * with all i have that it isn't Mark McGhee.....Please *, just gimme this one last wish and i`ll never knock money oot the plate again!!!

    Mowbray managed a hibs side that beat der hun 3-0 twice at Ipox, he developed talent like Fletcher, Brown, Thomson and Caldwell. He got a West Brom side who were outsiders to get relagated to league 1 promotion to the Championship then they were relagated through the board not allowing him money to spend.

    McGhee couldnt even make the top 6 this year. Player accolades mean nothing, look at Maradona. Possibly the best footballer ever and a * manager, lost 6-0 to Bolivia with Argentina, a squad of almost limitless talent.

    Mowbray is a better manager.
