If it's true then bite their * hand off and bring McGinn home.

Sell and buy McGinn, been wanting it to happen all season. Fantastic when in form but he simply wasn’t good enough for Europe, great squad player since he can change games with his pace and directness.

Good luck to him if he goes, he’ll regret leaving but nothing against him for wanting to move on and test himself down South.

Where does it say he wants to move on , the club will be first to know and there has been no noise made ,he was played when he recovered his fitness , if he was defo off then the manager would probs know and would not have needed to play him .

Brilliant player who admittedly had a mixed, injury hit season - a wee bit like Roberts, Sinclair, Griff and Moussa.

As the old cliche goes, form is temporary (Forrest) and class is permanent (Roberts) and Armstrong is top class - we should do everything we can to keep him.

Stuart Armstrong i think has one more season in him at Celtic, i just think he wants a move to play right side central midfield. If he wants to go then it's about a team like Southampton actually coughing up the correct valuation because i don't think you sign guys from their development team for less than double the price they'd be likely to offer for Armstrong.
If they offer 10million then the contract has a release clause for 50million, then somewhere in between is the actual valuation. Not all contracts have a release clause but you get what i mean.
Someone wants to negotiate i'd be saying it's not that the valuation doesn't match ours, quite clearly you don't value him at say £4million because well really there aren't many £4million players left in the Premiership, at this age group, full international, and a trophy laden career north of the border.
Maybe he looks a bit awkward at times, but i think he's got improvement in him, it's just whether he wants a change of scene.

In 6 months an English or foreign club can sign him for free.... we're not getting remotely near 10 * million for him. And if we do Lawwell deserves a statue next to Jock.

Plus he's (Armstrong not Pedro) * in Europe and Scottish - a.k.a. not valued at all in the transfer market. Let's be honest he's had probably 10 good months total in what 4 years as a Celtic player.

You are being grossly unfair to Forrest. When does 'form' become ability? Forrest has been excellent for a long while now.

He's nowhere near top class and if we get anything like £5m we should grab it. Spend that money wisely and we could bring in a far higher caliber player.

There was a point when he first broke into the team where he carried celtic for about 10 months , the game against bayern was the best winger display ive seen a celtic player play since mcgeady, that wasnt form, that was class.
he has always been class but his attitude has been bad at times but now rodgers has matured him a bit, we reap the benefits.

Would be very, very happy to be wrong about Forrest.
I just never get the feeling he is in control of any given situation or even has strong technique when striking the ball - that is why (for me) he is frustrating to watch.
When Forrest does something really well on the pitch (and he has done fairly often) it’s a surprise rather than expected, if that makes sense?

On Armstrong we can agree to disagree, I think he IS top class even though his confidence can be fragile - he may now have to prove it away from Celtic unfortunately as his agent seems to be determined to engineer a move.

Had an absolute great year season 16-17 scoring 16 from midfield similar season to what mcgregor had the season just finished. Just think with the form of Mcgregor, rogic tied down and how well Ntcham has done since coming in he will need to fight big time for a place again. A great player on his day and as much as I don't want him to leave I have a feeling he may go.

he's managed to pick up a little bit of form at the end, it was clear that we miss his runs and directness in midfield.

McGregor had a stormer this season but in way plays differently from Armstrong.

As much as I like Armstrong and the effect he clearly has on the pitch, you can't ignore that guys like Ntcham and Brown are perfect together, the form of McGregor, the constant class of Rogic and that we are probably a more well rounded unit in midfield with those guys.

Thing is, I'm probably bias because my imagination wants to make out he * us around with his contract and acted the big * after one good season and started to demand heaven and earth, but I would still try get a 2 year deal out of him just so we could possibly sell for £6mill and let him go.
