    Very true though.

    The guy's not Celtic quality.
    Please remove him immediately.

He isn't good enough for us I think. Gets caught up in possession far too much. Never lifts his head. Can't create space when its required. He is frustrating.

I think he's better than his performance tonight and is still a decent option, although I'd have Hendo ahead of him, but I also wouldn't be too fussed if we started accepting bids if they came in.
It's funny. I still rate him, to an extent, but I don't think he will ever be more than a reliable squad player. Which is fine.

Thought he did alright first half nothing to write home about but was solid got about the pitch well and was tidy with his passes his game totally transformed after being moved to left wing which was painful to watch I think that's why Rogers changed the formation to 3-5-2 as we just had nothing down the left with stretch.

He's a good player but he's not playing well for us. His weakness in the tackle betrays a lack of heart and soul and he seems almost invisible as games pass him by.

That's two managers who keep playing him though so there must be something we're missing.

Armstrong is such a poor footballer. His passing is poor, he takes a millennium to find a pass and his set pieces are some of the worst I have ever seen. They are like up and under long ball with no pace or target in mind.

    It's true though.

The DU 3 always baffled me. How we expected to get to the CL with the Dundee Utd attack (who failed miserably in Europe) will forever confuddle me obtusely.

Really really wanted him to come good... but he is * terrible. Has no awareness at all, constantly gives the ball away. Worst player on the park for me.

    He tries.

    But he's simply average.

    Which is a shame.

Rodgers went from coaching Coutinho and Firminho to Armstrong and McGregor. Meh.

I think he's a decent player, but he's definitely off the boil and his dead ball delivery is shocking. He really needs to work on that. I'd keep him in the squad this year, if no improvement it's time to move him on.

His set plays are a joke, he gets caught in possesion too much.
    He's just bang average.

What summed him up most yesterday was a ball that broke to him in the box second half, and instead of lacing it first time (lacing it I know, don't laugh), he panics and doesn't have a clue what to do, get's robbed and they break on us..

Pitiful player. I'm sorry, I gave him another chance, he's absolutely garbage at everything..

Can he make a telling pass?
    Can he shoot?
    Can he cross?
    Can he dribble?
    Can he tackle?
Does he go in for 50/50's? Whoever say's aye :56:
    Is he quick minded?
    Is he quick?
    Is he strong?
Has he any heart or bottle?

He's done for me. No way should he be starting, and never before a Rogic, Bitton or in the same midfield as McGregor..

I'm not as down on him as some but his shooting is some of the worst I've seen from a Celtic player. Absolutely woeful.

Hits shots you used to get laughed at in School for being pass backs, generates next to no power.

He'll be moved on in Jan I think. Not good enough. Doesn't offer anything.

My worry yesterday was him and McGregor in the same midfield, and it showed. Both too lightweight, so you start to weed it down on either and who brings more? Immediately McGregor comes to mind as he's more of a goal threat. Can beat a man and also quite intricate in creating goals, Sheep at home last year at the end and Roberts Imps goal at home being 2 off the head perfect examples..

I wouldn't have either in the same team. I wouldn't have Armstrong in the team at all..
