Needs to grow a pair and he'll be a good player. Loses too many 50/50's.

 

With Johnanson and Biyton fit, I don't think McGregor or Armstrong will get as much games. Which ia good as both are *. Also both their corners are really crap.

 

Said it for long enough not good enough, plenty of running making it look like he is doing something but contributes very very little, punt.

 

Don't want to see him played where he was again. He hasn't got it to play that wing role and truly cause teams problems.

 

Aye, this is very much what I came in here to say. Playing in the CM role, he needs more fight and intensity.

 

Should be a squad player not a starter.

Ironically the best game we've seen from him was 2-0 down against Inter.

 

He impressed me against Leicester but was poor today. I'm going to hope it was the pitch as I'm hoping he might kick-on this season under Brenny.

 

Why the * does this imposter take free kicks/corners ? Beggars belief. Should be used as backup. Not good enough to be a starter.

 

He's not good enough to start. He can be used as a squad player but we definitely need better quality starting.

 

starting to lose faith in him and sorry about that. seems a nice guy and maybe he needs to find a bit of fight in himself ... not a write off yet .

 

I was a big fan, I'm starting to wonder what actually does he offer? He's a great player at SPFL level but he's good at things, he does nothing great, He's like a Muller without goals or influence.

 

I just tried to pick out his qualities and I can't come up with anything other than: Reliable

 

I really wanted him to be good as he seems to have it in him but games seem to pass him by. I notice it more when he gives the ball away now than when he makes a creative pass. I don't think he should be starting.

On corners, it's not his fault because he must be told to take them. He might be the best in practise but we need to let others try in the heat of the game.

 

Actually painful to watch now . Offers close to nothing and is average in all areas.

 

Very few players were good today. I don't rate Armstrong and haven't bar his first half season, if that. But I won't write him off based on this game as he needs a few months competitive football to see how he develops under a competent manager.

Still dont rate him but he's had a decent preseason. We'll see.

 

I think there's a player in there and hopefully Rodgers can get that to shine through. He suits Rodgers style though, that's undeniable. Hopefully a run of games in his favoured position will see him come good.

Ideally though I'd like a quality addition in the middle of the park. Selling Johansen and Rogic (if he won't agree a new deal) and bringing in a real quality ball player could take us up a level and leave us with any two from Brown, Bitton, Armstrong and McGregor playing alongside him. Both Armstrong and McGregor have enough to contribute, but not to be the focal point of a midfield.

 

Not good enough. Been here 18 months and shown very little, if anything.

 

Really not offering that much. Never seems passionate or shows any emotion or will to fill the jersey
