Im not sure, he actually used to play well against us and against the huns and was a player i'd say was a hard working player who got stuck in.

For us he's probably just not very happy that he only ever plays on the left and we don't even let him roam around and get involved, I think Ronny instructs our wide players to stay wide and to get back and defend.

If I was a player who was quite good on the ball like Armstrong who was used to playing in the middle for a team and linking midfield and attack getting up and down the park and scoring a good few goals and joined Celtic to be used as a left-midfielder I wouldn't be happy.

Armstrong was more of a Petrov/Naismith sort of player for Dundee Utd who scored quite a few goals and a player who arrived into the box on time to score. We're wanting him to play like a McGeady/Maloney, get on the ball get down the wing and cut in to cross or shoot. Not his style at all.

I think we need to give him a spell in the side under a new manager, played in a more natural position to him.

If it turns out it's not going to happen for him at Celtic, then we sell him on, but he at least deserves a chance to show what he can do in his proper position.

Certainly missed the boat with him. Him on the left yesterday instead of Gms, running with purpose, a real genuine threat with pace, goals and certainly not a hider like his ex team mate's..

Watching him for a year and a half though, you need to make a decision. Is he going to be your CM for 40 games next season or do you want to let him go and try and buy another midfielder. That's as ruthless as we have to be.

All those player's have been proven scorers everywhere they've been. Armstrong is hoaching when striking a ball..

He'd come onto a decent game scoring wise at Dundee Utd though, scored 17 goals in his last 65 games for them which is quite good, better than 1 in 4.

I'm just going on his scoring record here, which must be poor for an attacking midfielder. His technique is * poor infront of goal and he's missed untold glaring opportunities..

Good option to have in CM if we play 433, which I think we should.

In the right system with the right manager, I think he might just do okay...

He is ruined as a left mid and if we continue to play him their, we are as well selling him.

Until he's played in cm he will struggle. A new manager is his only hope right now .

Thought he was really good today. Defo showed why he should be starting in the middle, so intelligent.

I thought he was our worst player today. Lost the ball far too many times.

He's a shadow of the player we signed.

Really? It Baffles me when people support Bitton's unchallenged position at the heart of our midfield. Armstrong would be a much better choice there.

He did lose the ball a lot today but tbf a lot of the balls played to him were badly timed and placed. I think he could be a better player in the middle of the park but right now I'm not even sure he's good enough for Celtic even in midfield.

I feel sorry for him because it was the manager who kept picking him and putting him out wide.

    90 minute's he got, 90 minute's?

I know he's not a left winger but he's a shocking player for me. Can't trap a ba. No heart. No real pace. No dribbling. Designated set piece taker who can't beat the first man. No real dig and floats in and out..

Telling me Christie or Allan wouldn't contribute more this afternoon? Definite punt for me..
