Needs benched for the forseeable future.

 

I actually still like him, decent on the ball and good work rate but he is a centre-mid and doesn't cut it out wide.

 

fair enough players go through bad spells, and he is even playing out of position, but * me why does he persist on taking free kicks and corners, i dont no if he is told to play for the front post every time, but he hardly ever beats the first man.

 

Looks devoid of confidence..

Needs some time on the bench.. Before his Celtic career becomes irretrievable!

Looks as if he lacks the belief to make it with us.

 

Why does he put both hand's up like it's something that's been worked on with some imagination? He has never put in anything different than the central floater

I understand he's got more issues in his gane but am I think the only one who notices the glaring issue of his finishing? The guy cannot score, he's probably the biggest culprit in terms of attacking players we have behind the striker who cant put it in the net. Gets golden chances most games and never converts. Not just referencing today, but its been this way all season, with the memorable game for me being Aberdeen at home when we couldve gone 4-5 up if he had the finishing. Get him to work on his finishing and nerve and that will * build up his confidence; we will see a better Armstrong.

 

His finishing is worse than Forrest's/ Johansen's nevermind the likes of Commons/Rogic/Gms etc etc..

When he tries to bend it, he always bends it too much and it goes wide. When he laces it, he drags it well wide or it's a pass back..

He did all today, again..

 

Just a terrible crosser of the ball. You'd think he might try something different.

 

Surely JC who was excellent at set piece's, must have a word with him, or set something up?

We try nothing off the training pitch that would totally throw oppositions big hammer throwing diddies sitting infront of the keeper for one of Armstrong's specials..

Put one arm up and play a diagonal to the edge of the box for Bitton or when Commons play's, on the volley.... * me, anything..

We've been quite good as Boyata is pretty dominant when attacking the ball in the air but really, that only tells half a story..

 

It's getting tiresome. He has been shocking for months & we have half a dozen players that could offer us more, yet he's a first pick.

What was this guy like at DU ?

Honestly don't know what folk saw in him.

 

He's not comfortable, you're right. That said, doesn't help when your first touch is like he's wearing * wellies

 

Still think this guy has something to offer but need to get him in his natural position
