One thing I will say in his defence is how our coaching staff can't see how woeful he is at set piece's. I don't know if that's JC's part but surely someone who was an excellent set piece taker, can at least spot it..

Time after time, dangerous free kicks and corners, the guy just holds his hand's up and floats it in bang central. In fact the two time's we put in good one's, was when he was off them. Griff in the first half that was just about dealt with from a free kick and particularly Gms' corner which was an attacker's dream..

I think a big problem we have with the likes of Armstrong, GMS, Boyata, forrest, johansen is consistency....and I think that might just be down to the quality of footballer they are..

A big difference between a great player and an average player can be a simple as how consistent they are at maintaining form and a high level of performance..

With these bang-average players we're going to see the odd game of brilliance (e.g Hamilton 8-0) then utter * the next week....its why they're average players, not great ones..

    The standard needs to improve..

He didnt earn his place which is a major problem. His place was gifted to him at the expense of a better more effective player. I feel the Deila stink may ruin him here but I think he could be useful in the bank of two.

Has any team ever bought the front 3 off a team who was 6th? And thought that would still make them 1st? Mind boggles. One player, aye not 3.

He may be playing out of position, but no matter what position you are on the pitch you can still do the simple things like pass, tackle, put in a half decent cross and f*ck me put in a better corner! He's not up to it, really hope Roberts takes his place on the wing in the coming weeks.

The regression of Armstrong and GMS since last season is baffling. It`s not like they are being played completely out of position. I would sit them down and show them videos of their performances this season and then their performances this season and ask them to offer reasons for the difference. If they can`t give any then they should be punted. Their form cannot be blamed on Deila. They should still be able to do the basics. We are starting to have a theme where players are regressing rather than progressing at the club

    Of course he can.

His shooting is rank, his passing is inconsistent, he struggles to trap the ball half the time as well. It's always bouncing up to his knee, chest etc.

Can't hit a decent set piece either.

And worst of all, he hides when the going gets tough.

It's pretty laughable to say they've regressed. What exactly were they doing last season that I've missed? Seems to me like they scored a couple of early goals but didn't do anything else except from one game against inter Milan.

They have regressed, there's no doubt about it.

Neither of them were fantastic when they came in, but they were steady enough with GMS in particular playing quite well.

Compare that to this season where, up until 3 weeks ago, GMS hadn't kicked a ball. And Armstrong has had about 2 good performances this season.

They were both average when they came here and they are still both average. They haven't regressed, some people just seem to have a rose tinted view of them when they arrived.

Armstrong hasn't even been average this season. He's been *.

    Same with GMS.

Since Armstrong got here he's done nothing but blend in inter game aside. I genuinely can't remember one other match where I've thought Armstrong was man of the match. That is the definition for average for me.

GMS on his day is actually a player good enough for us imo, he's just inconsistent as * as shown by the fact when he first came he played pretty well then turned * until preseason then played well then turned * again and then played well again in January. If he had the consistency he'd be in our team most games however his lack of it makes him average aswell in my opinion. It's not a trait he's gained at Celtic though he was the same at united

All true.Still one of the first names on the team-sheet though. Scandalous. One the most over-rated players in Scotland, even when he was at United i failed to see what all the fuss was about.

Anyone else noticed how bad his delivery is from set pieces. Rank. Corner after corner not beating the first man
