Waste of a jersey for the most part today. Ronny should have had him subbed much earlier in all honesty.

 

Needs dropped for a good 6-7 games. Kick him up the *. And if he's not gonna be able to play in his natural position, maybe he's best moving on. Cos him out on the left is a joke.

 

Much better player than he looked today. He's not suited to that wide attacking midfielder role. Move him into the middle and his form will pick up.

 

Wouldn't ever be in my match day squad never mind my starting line up.

 

When the going is good and we are scoring goals he will look the part, but he is a man down when its a backs to the wall game.

The kind of player who goes into his shell as soon as we are up against it. Not the kind of player you want on the wing either because your full back will start to get exposed big time.

 

fair enough the guys never a winger, but * * he was woeful today, as bad a performance from a celtic player ive seen in a long time, yet he still gets sent to take every * free kick and corner.

 

Genuinely an absolute shocker of a game today.

 

See even when we are good and playing well I don't ever see him playing well, I've never understood people saying he's playing well because I can only remember him having three good games, Inverness, Inter and Hamilton.

He genuinely offers nothing when he was on the park and if James Forrest did what Armstrong does when he's on the park he'd be getting absolutely hounded after every game.

 

Think him an GMS have split up as he seems to have took to the break up really bad with his * performances as of late.

He was better than he has been but it was still nowhere near good enough.

Interesting that you make excuses for Armstrong yet refuse to give Forrest any credit, who has been outshining him all season.

 

It's not just that he's out of position for me, I just think he's very ordinary.

I prefer Forrest, Commons, Rogic, McGregor, Johansen, Allan...

I'd play any of those ahead of him in the Left/Centre Attacking Midfield positions.

 

Another stinker yesterday. He should have been hooked before Bitton.

 

Has been consistently poor in almost every game we've played. Even when we've played well he was always on the periphery. Yet he's shoehorned into the team to play almost every game.

Questions have got to be asked about a manager who continues to play an out of form player in a position that is obviously hindering him, especially when we have various alternatives.

 

Simply out of position and lacking in confidence for that reason. The manager's a joke.
