Armstrong is all right. He will be a player for us in coming seasons. Just needs to be used correctly. Has an intelligent head and he is composed. Needs to be worked with better.

I'm looking forward to seeing this guy play when Ronnie leaves.

I hate saying this and I really don't mean it but it would be best for Stu Armstrong if WGS came back. He'd sort him out as a player like he did with Scott Brown. I really don't want to lose him as Scotland Manager though.

Yeah I agree. I think a different manager could get a lot more out of many of our underachievers.

Thought he was so much better tonight especially second half and was more active and had a mind to effect the match cutting inside. Impressed for the first time since Malmo at home to be honest.

Should never be on the left. For how much he sees of the ball, he doesn't do nowhere near enough with it..

Pish again, though not through lack of effort.

He likes to cut inside but his shooting is laughable.

He's a centre midfielder so we rraky went seeing the best of him.

I don't see how his attributes transfer centrally personally. The other options there are simply better.

He looked a lot better tonight in comparison with weeks gone by.

Played well tonight, wasn't given long enough in the central position.

Good ball for Commons, still coming back from a while out.

I was surprised that Deila didn't put him in beside Johansen and McGregor out wide, I thought that would have been a better option.

Best he's looked in a few months to be honest, looked up for it but his decision making was poor on several occasions but he did put in a few cracking crosses and of course picked Commons out well for his peach.

Hate to say this after a good win but he was soo wasteful on the ball. I still feel he will be a good player for us & he put Commons in for a goal but his passing was * poor in the main & his decision making wasn't much better. Can't believe he started in front of Allan after spending time on the sidelines & with Allan showing some essential creativity.

Thought he ruined a lot of our play when we cut right through McGowan..

Did he cross for Simunovic? Must have. Decent cross, poor goalkeeping to be fair..

seem to be a bit of fire in his belly as were the team last night suttons criticism seem to sting them into action a bit

much more positive than hes been for ages

when he came into the side last year he was so much better though, like he was just happy to be here, now hes established he maybe wants/thinks he should play centrally and isnt motivated enough to play attacking midfield left

too many central midfielders and not enough attacking midfielders, wingers and we're trying to make our own ???

thought magreggor done well in centre mid today but maybe we could have tried swapping him with armstrong for a period of the game and see if magreggor may be better there

    I agree with this.

Was actually surprised that McGregor didn't start out wide and Armstrong in the more defensive role as I believe he is better suited to CM.

I thought he looked a lot better in the centre of the park tonight. He worked well with Allan and McGregor. It was good to have so many good passers of the ball all playing at once with pacey wingers cutting inside.

Much better tonight. Just needs to find some shooting boots.
